2. THE HANGOVER PART III The Hangover 3 is an American comedy, it is the sequel to the 2011 Hangover 2 which reached $581,464,305 at box office. The Hangover 3 is produced by Legendary pictures and distributed by Warner Brothers Pictures. The production company budgeted $103 million to produce the film and since it has been released on May the 20th it has already made $272,874,000 through box office. The 3 movies all together have been very successful in the industry. 3. THE HANGOVER 3 FILM TRAILER Above are two trailers for The Hangover 3. The top trailer is the official trailer for the film, this was released in April 11 2013 before they released this they released a teaser trailer on the 27th of March 2013 to show the viewers a little taster of the film. The trailers were initially released onto YouTube for viewers to watch them, they were then later released onto TV to reach a wider audience and to make the public more aware of the film. They all vary with different characters featured on them, some have individual characters featured, some are group posters and some even have the animals that are in the film featured on them, for example the monkey or the giraffe. More than half of the posters have the headline It all ends. this shows the readers that it is the end of the trilogy and the end of an ere. The posters all have the same sort of layout which created continuity between their products. The reason for creating so many different posters to advertise the film is so that they can reach a wider audience and so that they appeal to different audience segments. 5. ANALYSIS OF POSTERS This is one of the main posters, It has all 3 of the main character featured on it, this will attract a much wider audience as people will know straight away which which movie the poster is from. As you can see this poster has the same heading as the third poster which shows continuity. All 3 posters have the same sub heading Part III This type of poster features a single character. This poster would attract more females as it features Bradley Cooper who is an attractive actor. This is another main poster, the reason it is so popular is because it shows two of the characters having conflict which will attract a big audience as it will entice people to watch it to see what happens. 6. ON THE WEBSITE The Hangover website is full of advertising ways in which to promote the film. As soon as you open the website cinema dates pop up onto you screen, this shows the viewers that the film is already out in the cinemas, where and what time they are shown. The website also has a gallery on it where you can view pictures of the cast and films by clicking on the tap at the top. There is also a tap situated at the bottom of the screen which shows you Alan's Tumblr if you click on it, this shows you more about his character and what he enjoys. Again on this tab at the bottom it also shows a game that you can play Giraffe or duck which is a scene from the movie featuring the giraffe. All of these features on the website help to promote the movie and target a wide audience by having games for the younger audience, music and pictures for the older audience.
