the harbour is Nervi's historic centre, as shown bythe castle and the Roman bridge. from the early 1800's to the present day. Amongthe most important artists featured in this

collection are Rayper, D’Andrade, Barabino,Monteverde, Vela, Sabatelli, Issel, De Albertis,Baroni, Nomellini, Merello, Messina, Carena,Fillia, De Pero, Cambellotti, Martini, De Pisis,Casorati, Mafai, Guttuso, Cagli , Socrate,Pirandello.Villa Grimaldi Fassio, set in a wonderfulrose-garden overlooking the sea,preserves the important Frugone brothersCollections, which they donated to thecity of Genoa. The collections featurepaintings, sculptures, drawings andengravings (mostly portraits andlandscapes) from 1860-1930, selectedaccording to the criteria and taste of early
