Isn't it interesting when you learn a lesson or two everyday. This is exactly what happened to me a few days ago. Attending a seminar for wealth creation in Brisbane lead me to watch a couple of movies as part of the home work assignment given to us students last weekend. One of them was Kung Fu Panda, the movie.Its an interesting movie if you could see through the scenes and dissect the messages narrated through the story line. In the movie you will see the 12 steps to success or being the hero played out again and again that's seen in most movies. I was taken in with the movie as its the 'hero's journey" within each one of us as we go through life be it in business or at work. How we rise up to occasions or trials and face up to them as heroes would do. Below are the 12 steps that we need to go through to come out at the end as heroes in our respective journeys: 1. Return with the Exlixer 2. The Ordinary World 3. Call to Adventure 4. Refusal of the Call 5. Meeting with the Mentor 6. Crossing the Threshold 7. Test allies Enemies 8. The Approach 9. The Supreme Ordeal 10. The Reward 11. The Road Back 12. The Resurrection As you go through the movie you will see that the movie Kung Fu Panda has these steps played out in it too. You see an ordinary Panda living an ordinary life, the son of a noodle maker who has a dream which then leads him to a vision.
