Description:
The history of modern recruiting started with classified ads in newspapers and evolved into utilizing computer databases to keep track of resumes and applications. Eventually, with the widespread adoption of the internet, online job boards were used to solicit those same resumes and applications. Its mobile phase is only a small part of what has been a long and adaptive history. Technological innovation has played a huge role in the shift in recruiting, and for good reason. It is now easier for recruiters and hiring managers to reach job seekers than ever before, whether through social networks or simply in terms of opening up the number of communication options. The mobile era is not quite in full bloom, however. If you’ve seen the latest edition of the Corporate Mobile Readiness Report, you know the Fortune 500 is only gradually getting up to speed with mobile-optimized career sites and recruiting techniques. While the mobile era is now when it comes to recruiting, there is still a ways to go.
