My Analysis Supporting Images

Cinematography & Camera Techniques

The film starts of with one of the dewarfs telling the story about how it all began, but he is writing the story to his grandson so one of the shots was where he opend the chest and he started to grab a sword that was in there but then instead of doing that he moves that out the way to find a book to write the story in.

This was a close ul shot to shiw the sword and i thought that this was a good shot because it shows the past of what that sword has gone through but you would only know that if you watched the films that were made previously

The start of the film also shows a long shot of the dwarf writing the story from behind

The film also shows a establishing shot where when he talks about the place at the mountain where the king stays and rules and then he goes on about how it was over took and over ruled and i think this is good because because it shownthe view what they are talking about

Visual Effects & Colour Scheme The visual effects on this film are amazing there are alot of

cgi but you cant actually tell that it is cgi the colour on this are mostly dark colours because they are worriors

Genre Conventions

Film Opening Sequence Analysis *Comment on the following aspects in relation to your film opening title sequence choice

NarrativeThe narrative is normaly the dwarf, throuh out the film he starts to describe what id happening and sometime he would write it down as a story like the screen shot that i have put on the side. He normally goes on about the story when he has ti e and then the editing li ks back to when he shows him acctualy writing the story

Editing Techniques The editing is amazing in this film as they have taken alot of

time in doing it on and most of the film is in cgi and this means that the effects and motions are not real and they have been done by a computer where they track the opposition and place all drawings in

Title Credit Design The title credit is made to show the effection oh what it is

and this was the only one that was there
