Full Member and Associate ApplicationsApplicants seeking professional recognition as Full members or Associates should join as Affiliates, regardless of experience. Application packs for membership are available online.
After tax relief, the IHBC's annual fee will cost UK residents less than £90 (or £45 for taxpayers on the concessionary rate) as members may claim IHBC fees as a professional expense against their income.
See more at: www.ihbc.org.uk/join/memb_fees
As a registered charity, good value and the affordability of the IHBC's services are a priority.
If you need support for annual fees, whether because of low income, training periods, special circumstances or other reasons that suggest you may qualify for assistance, please apply for our hardship support. This will vary according to needs and applications. However a person with income under £17,500, and volunteering in the sector, such as a student, could expect to pay no more than £25 for a year while in certain circumstances full fees can be reimbursed. Support is only available to members, so before applying you should join the IHBC at the concessionary rate.
For details see: www.ihbc.org.uk/join/Hardship
IHBC members often enjoy reduced rates at our events and, where advertised, those of our partners.
The IHBC also offers bursary support to members to support attendance at our Annual Schools. The UK charity, as well as many national and local branches, have special arrangements in place each year.
For more details on these offers and arrangements, and to keep up to date, monitor our news service, the NewsBlogs, and relevant sections of our web site.
