So what exactly is the International Baccalaureate?
“... The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a not-for-profit foundation, motivated by its mission to create a better world through
education”
-
...The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a
better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect...
The Foundation of the IB-CP • 21st century life places complex demands on
graduates looking for work – so enabling students to become self-confident, skilled and career-ready learners must be an integral part of their education.
• The International Baccalaureate® (IB) Career-related Programme (CP) prepares students for the world of work, as well as developing a student’s personal qualities. • By doing so it leads students down a personally chosen
career-related pathway towards further/higher education, internships or work.
