How is the IB different than other advanced courses?
The IB is an interconnected program rather than individual coursework.
Is there a lot of writing in IB?
Yes. But students are writing more in all of their classes these days.
Does the IB program crowd out participation in afterschool programs or a social life?
IB students participate in sports, band, robotics, and many activities. They have rich social lives too.
Participation in some out of school activities is even part of the program.
