THE ICC VISION AND MISSION

Based in everything that we read above, we establish the synthesis of our vision and mission in the following way:

OUR VISION

“We are a people that hosts the presence of God in a Kingdom Culture.”

Principles that Guide the Vision

To manifest the Kingdom and the Will of God on earth as it is in heavens.

OUR MISSION

“We are a people with a mission that carries the Glory of God to our generation.”

Values:The Bible is our pattern for all faith, instruction, practice, and relationships Do not allow the glory of God to become so familiar in the congregation that we will no longer honor Him Personal growth to maintain ongoing intimate relationship with God Freedom to express the gifts in the midst of the congregation Discipleship training is the most effective way to get long-lasting transformation Accomplishing all of the above is nothing apart from love.

The main strategies of ICC to fulfill its mission are the following ones:

• Discipleship

Discipleship should happen in two instances: personal discipleship and group discipleship. The reason for this is the development of our individual and collective Christian identity. Individual discipleship is the exercise of the responsible fatherhood; group discipleship is the

relationship of the family of God. Discipleship aims for personal growth in grace and knowledge of God and the preparation for priesthood. ICC considers members all those who are involved and are in the process of discipleship in both instances.

Sunday Service

It is the meeting for worship, fellowship, celebration, exercise of spiritual gifts, and church ministries. In this celebration where all the members should be present, the Lord’s Supper, the preaching of the Word, the opportunity for all members to know others that do not belong to the same group of discipleship and the communication of general issues related to the church are means to strengthen the unity of the body.

Prayer Meetings

Prayer meetings are opportunities for the body to exercise their faith and to grow in grace and knowledge of God as our provider and sanctifier. A victorious life is accomplished by persevering in prayer and intercession with thanksgiving. Beyond all other prayer practices, the leadership

of ICC is committed to the prayer meetings on Mondays and on Sundays before the service. The ICC leadership is also committed to prayer vigil every other week which is opened to all the church.

Special Events At ICC we prepare special events in order to fulfill the objectives we have as a body. Such events are in tune with the vision and are means to

reach the target or goals set for the body. We go on retreats, missionary events, conferences, etc. The result we search for through these events is to promote opportunities for a personal encounter and transformation between the participants and Jesus.
