The photographs can give information about the psychological, emotional and physical condition of the subject. This aura-imaging technique is especially useful in showing changes in the subtle energy distribution around the human body before and after any experience.
The biofield of a healthy active person is dense, uniform and has smooth changes of color from the blue spectrum through the orange to the yellow. Holes, gaps, heterogeneities and outbursts in the aura are indicators of disturbances in the energy field. They point to disorders on mental, functional or organ levels, showing a direct link to the organ system indicated on the biofield picture. Left and right side projections of the image show disturbances that relate to both logical cerebral and right intuitive hemispheres and right and left sides of the body.
In addition to assessing general health, the GDV can measure chakra balance. There are major energy centers throughout the body, which are connected to organs or glands that govern the body. Each of these main energy centers are referred to as chakras. Chakra means wheel in Sanskrit and is a concept that originated in traditional Indian medicine. It refers to wheel-like vortices that are said to be "force centers” of the body and the focal points for the reception and transmission of energies. Seven major chakras are located within the subtle body and each center is connected to our being on several different levels: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.
The data in this pilot study shows a significant increase in the bioenergetic field of five subjects after holding the I.Connect, as measured by the GDV technology. Furthermore, the organ system function and chakra energy levels and balance of four of the subjects are significantly increased. Results for placebo did not show a significant change from baseline for the biofield, organ system function or the energy levels or balance. These results demonstrate the effectiveness of the I.Connect to increase the energy state as related to health and well-being.
Methods Nine healthy adults (five females and four males) ranging in age from 35 to 65 were recruited and a baseline measure was obtained with the GDV camera (http://gdvcamera.com). The images are computer generated representations of the biofield analyzed from biophoton corona discharge patterns produced by high-voltage electrophotography. Five subjects were given the active I.Connect and four were given the placebo I.Connect. The subject held the I.Connect or placebo for five minutes after the baseline measure and was immediately retested.
Results
Active I.Connect The following GDV results are from the participants who held the active I.Connect. The GDV assesses the subtle energy available for metabolic processes in the body. The larger the area of color around the body and the more filled in it is, the better the overall state of health. A higher level of symmetry also reflects a better state of health.
Figure 1 shows the GDV results before holding the I.Connect (baseline). The area of the biofield from the left side is 19,124, the center is 15,464 and the right side is 15,809. The symmetry, or energetic balance of both halves of the body, is 80%. The areas on the images that are not filled in represent deficiencies of certain organ systems.

Figure 2 shows GDV results after holding the I.Connect for five minutes. The area of the subtle energy field increased from the left side from 19,124 to 22,043, the center rose from 15,464 to 21,674 and the right side increased from 15,809 to 20,893. As seen, the areas are much more filled in, representing improved energy flow. The symmetry rose from 80% to 89%.

The increases in the biofield and symmetry are given in Table 1. All of the aspects of the biofield increased, ranging from 13.2 to 32.7% and the average was 24.9%. The significant increase in the subtle energy field and biofield symmetry after holding the I.Connect demonstrates that it dramatically improves ones energetic field related to health and well-being.

Figure 3 shows the baseline results of organ system function, as measured by the GDV technique. The red circle represent energetic levels of the organs listed in the diagram. The pink area on the figures indicates low energy levels (deficiency), the green area indicates normal energy and the yellow area represents excessive energy levels (inflammation). In this type of diagram, a perfect circle represents perfect health.
As seen, the organs with the largest deficiencies were the urogenital system (-2.89), liver (-2.55), left kidney (-1.21), right kidney (-2.22) and the spleen (-2.01). The organ systems with smaller deficiencies were the thyroid (-.71), appendix (-.86) and the sacrum (-1.18), lumbar (-2/03), thorax (-2.25) and cervical (-1.27) spinal areas. The remaining organ system functions were in the normal range.

Figure 4 shows results for organ system function of the same participant after holding the I.Connect for five minutes. All values for before and after holding the I.Connect are given in Table 2. As shown, all of the organ systems that were out of the normal range were normalized and the diagram looks more circular, without the sharp dips that indicate organ deficiencies that were observed for the baseline measure. As seen in Table 2, all of the measures are much closer to 0, which is perfect energetic balance for the organ. This indicates an improvement in overall health and well-being.

Figure 5 shows results for the baseline test of chakra energy and balance of the same participant. Each sphere from the bottom to the top represents a chakra, ranging from the first to the seventh chakra and the color of each sphere represents the traditional colors for each chakra. The size of each sphere indicates the amount of energy each chakra contains and a larger sphere indicates higher energy. The closer the sphere is to midline, the more balanced the chakra is. The green area shows the “normal” range for the balance of each chakra. The graphs on the right show the values for both the amount of energy the chakra contains (upper figure) and the balance of the chakra (lower graph).
As shown, the first chakra (shown in red) is nearly out of the normal range. The second chakra (shown in orange) has a lower energy level and is out of range, the third chakra (shown in yellow) has a lower energy level and is midway to the out of range value and the fifth chakra (shown in light blue) is furthest out of range.

Figure 6 shows chakra energy and balance after holding the I.Connect for five minutes. As seen, the second, third and fifth chakra have increased energy after the I.Connect.
In addition, the first chakra is perfectly balanced, the second chakra is within the normal range, the third chakra (shown in yellow) is closer to being perfectly balanced and the fourth chakra is nearly perfectly balanced. All of the chakras are in the normal range and more balanced after I.Connect exposure.

Figure 7 shows the area of the biofield of another subject before and after holding the I.Connect. The image on the left was taken before holding the I.Connect and the one on the right was taken after holding the I.Connect for five minutes. The area of the subtle energy field increased from 13,654 to 19,240 (a 41.6% increase) and the symmetry rose from 84% to 93% (a 10.7% increase). The significant increase in the subtle energy field and biofield symmetry after holding the I.Connect demonstrates that it greatly improves ones energetic field related to health and well-being.

As seen in Figure 8, the organ system deficiencies enhanced by the I.Connect were the liver, cervical area of the spine. spleen, jaw area, and sacral area of the spine, which indicates depleted organ system function. All of these deficiencies were reversed by the I. Connect, as seen in Figure 8 and the values are given in Table 3.

Figure 9 shows GDV results for chakra energy and balance of the same participant before and after holding the I.Connect for five minutes. In the figure, the circles with slashed lines represent chakra balance before holding the I.Connect and the solid circles represent the chakra balance after holding the I.Connect. The larger the circles are, the more energy they contain. The closer the circles are to midline, the more balanced the chakras are.
As shown, all of the chakras have increased energy levels after exposure to the I.Connect. In addition, the first and fifth chakras become perfectly balanced, while the third chakra moves closer to midline. However, the seventh chakra became less balanced. Overall, the increased chakra balance indicates improved health and well-being.

Figure 10 shows the area of the biofield of another subject before and after holding the I.Connect. The image on the left was taken before holding the I.Connect and the one on the right was taken after holding the I.Connect five minutes. The area of the subtle energy field increased from 10,976 to 13,925 (an increase of 26.9%) and the symmetry rose from 76% to 86% (an increase of 13.2%). The significant increase in the subtle energy field and the symmetry of the biofield after holding the I.Connect demonstrates that it greatly improves ones energetic field related to health and well-being.

Figure 11 shows the results of organ system function of the same participant, as measured by the GDV technique before and after holding the I.Connect for five minutes. Figure 15 shows GDV results for chakra energy and balance of the same particpant before and after holding the I.Connect for five minutes. As seen, all of the chakras except the first chakra contain more energy after I.Connect exposure. All seven chakras become became more balanced, which are quite dramatic results. These results demonstrate that the pendant greatly improves ones energetic field related to physical and emotional well-being.

These deficiencies were reversed by the I.Connect, as seen in Figure 17 and the values are given in Table 6.

Figure 18 shows GDV results for chakra energy and balance before and after holding the I.Connect for five minutes. In the figure, the circles with slashed lines represent chakra balance before holding the I.Connect and the solid circles represent the chakra balance after holding the I.Connect. All of the chakras except the fourth chakra contain more energy. The chakras were fairly well-balanced at the baseline measure and interestingly, they shifted to the other side all of the chakras except the sixth chakra.

Placebo I.Connect Results
There were no significant changes between before and after holding the placebo for any of the subjects.
Figure 19 shows the area of the biofield of a participant before and after holding the placebo I.Connect. The image on the left was taken before holding the placebo and the one on the right was taken after holding the placebo for five minutes. The area of the subtle energy field changed from 14,033 to 13,876 (a 1.1% decrease) and the symmetry increased from 80% to 87%. The changes were not significant.

As shown, the first, third, sixth and seventh chakras had slightly less energy and the fourth chakra had slightly more energy after the placebo. The first and fourth chakra moved slightly out of balance. Overall, these are not significant changes.

The area of the subtle energy field decreased from 15,283 to 14,656 (a 4.1% decrease) and the symmetry changed from 82% to 84%. These changes were not significant.

As shown, there were no significant differences between before and after placebo and there was a small decrease in the thyroid energy after I.Connect exposure.

Figure 24 shows GDV results for chakra energy levels and balance before and after holding the placebo for five minutes. The second and seventh chakras contain less energy after the placebo. In addition, the second, fourth, fifth and sixth chakras become slightly more balanced, while the seventh chakra becomes slightly less balanced. These changes were not significant.

Figure 25 shows the area of the biofield of another participant before and after holding the placebo I.Connect. The image on the left was taken before holding the placebo and the one on the right was taken after holding the placebo for five minutes. The area of the subtle energy field decreased from 15,384 to 14,475 (a 5.9% decrease) and the symmetry did not change from 84%. These changes were not significant.

Figure 26 shows the results of organ system function of the same participant, as measured by the GDV technique. The red circle shows before and the blue circles show after holding the placebo for five minutes. As shown, there were no significant differences between before and after placebo exposure. However, there was an increase after placebo of the energy levels of the sacral area of the spine.

Figure 27 shows GDV results for chakra energy levels and balance before and after holding the placebo for five minutes. As seen, the first, third, fourth and seventh chakras contain less energy, while the second and third chakras contain more energy after placebo exposure. In addition, the second and third chakras became more balanced, while the first, fifth and sixth became less balanced.

Figure 28 shows the area of the biofield before and after holding the placebo I.Connect. The image on the left was taken before holding the placebo and the one on the right was taken after holding the placebo for five minutes. The area of the subtle energy field changed from 12,455 to 11,907 (a 4.3% decrease) and the symmetry changed from 80% to 83%. These changes were not significant.

Figure 29 shows the results of organ system function of the same participant, as measured by the GDV technique before and after holding the placebo for five minutes. The red circle shows before and the blue circles show after holding the placebo for five minutes. As shown, the immune system energy decreased from -0.28 to -1.46, the left kidney decreased from -2.22 to -2.95, the right kidney decreased from -1.27 to -1.95 and the thorax area of the spine decreased from -1.24 to -2.19. In contrast, the thyroid value increased from -2.29 to -1.61, the jaw area increased from -2.36 to -1.06 and there were small increases in systems that were in the normal range at baseline (liver, coronary and cerebral vessels).

Figure 30 shows chakra energy levels and balance results before and after holding the placebo for five minutes for the same participant. As seen, the first, third and fourth chakras become slightly more balanced, yet contain less energy while the seventh chakra becomes less balanced and contain less energy. These are not significant changes.

Conclusions The results of this pilot study show a significant improvement in the human biofield, organ system function, chakra energy levels and balancing of the chakras after holding the I.Connect, as demonstrated by GDV testing. The significant increases in all of these tests show a dramatic effect of the I.Connect to increase and individual’s health and vitality. In contrast, there were no significant changes from baseline for any of these measures after holding the placebo. These results support the I.Connect claim that when it is connected to the body, energy flows and health improves.
In every subject, improvements were observed in the area and symmetry of the biofield. In contrast, none of the placebo tests produced an increase in area or symmetry. The results for organ system function correlated with the biofield results. For every subject, the I.Connect partially reversed every organ system deficiency, whereas the placebo did not reverse any organ deficiencies and in some cases, there were decreases in organ system function after placebo.
Results for the chakra energy levels and balance were also impressive. For the 5 subjects, the I.Connect produced an increase in 18 of the chakra energy levels and a decrease in 1 chakra energy level. In contrast, the placebo produced an increase in energy levels of 4 chakras and a decrease in energy levels of 18 chakras. The I.Connect brought the chakras into balance in every subject that had a chakra imbalance (except for the seventh chakra in one subject and the fourth chakra in another subject). There was a total of 28 chakras that became more balance after the I.Connect. In contrast, the placebo brought 4 chakras more into balance (the chakras that became more balanced were close to midline at baseline and 14 chakras became less balanced. These results are very impressive.
It should be noted that the increases in the biofield, improvements in organ system function and chakra balance occurred in five minutes. It is likely that further effects will be observed when the I.Connect is held for longer times. These results are quite dramatic, very promising and a larger study repeating these observations and looking at time course of action is recommended.
