The advantages
Hybrid MeetingsCombination of in room meeting and remote shareholder participation via webcast, using mobile and electronic handsets;
●Greater accessibility by opening up meeting to a larger and remote shareholder audience.● Target institutional investors who have large holdings but do not have time to attend meetings in
person.● Increase quality of the debate in Q&A sessions by allowing a broader demographic of attendees.
Virtual MeetingsPhysical meeting is reduced to Chairman, select board members – audio, webcast, dial in;
● Potential cost saving.● Remove the need for venue hire and catering.● No need for board to travel or take time out of schedule for stage rehearsals.
In room Mobile MeetingsElectronic polling at the physical meeting;
● Shareholders can bring their own device to the meeting (BYOD).● Use of modern technology.● Confidence in managing meeting change – procedural motions etc.
