DEDICATED IMPROVEMENTS AND STUDENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR 2016-2017As a result of the generosity of our community of parents, faculty, staff, alumni and friends, the over AED 1.5 million raised has been dedicated to enhance, extend and enrich learning opportunities for students beyond what tuition provides. Funds were raised through a combination of net proceeds of the 50th Anniversary Gala, the on campus, bespoke auction and the first-ever annual giving campaign.

We thank the many, many generous individuals and organizations who made the opportunity of these funds available.

The following outstanding projects and opportunities are now a reality at ASD:

Funds have been dedicated to a number of outstanding projects that otherwise would not have been possible. Because of these funds, the re-imagining projects of the ES and MS/HS Libraries are now complete. As a project began several years ago, students will now enjoy new, modern libraries with state-of-the-art, 21st century design features that enhance collaboration and learning. In addition, ASD was able to install critical misting fans across campus to improve our learning environment, a new state-of-the-art theatre projector and school-wide sustainability bins, and enhance division learning space. Finally, funds were dedicated to support the opportunity for student-inspired, self-directed learning projects and more.
