INTRODUCTIONThe popularity of smartphones has been increasing rapidly in recent years. This device popularity also make university student interests for it. In European Journal of Scientific Research; Uichin Lee et al. (2014) (said Smartphones are used widely by university studentsSo, how is students use the smartphone to their life in campus? for studying? We agree with statement that smartphone affect students studying whether it positive and negative.

BODY StudySmartphone are introduced another means for the knowledge lovers to fulfill their dreams. Positive The use of smartphones service for students with goal of information seeking, communication, email, journals and articles for their study. Moreover, student be able to taking notes when they dont have or bring pen and paper. From Nielsen, L. & Webb, W. (2011) phones are great for taking notes when you are away from the computer or when pen and paper would be in the way


Negative Meanwhile, with the social networking effects of the smartphone, concentration in the lecture is lost. Students become less focus on their assignment also a major effect brought by the smartphone.There is some word; polluting classroom with disruptions meaning the constant texting and receiving messages and calls not only disrupts the lecture but it also interrupts the whole class.


According to Muhammad S. and Tariq R. S. (2013) said smartphone is one the sources of distraction. This is not only distracting for the student, but it can also become distracting for other students around them and even sometimes for whole class


2. Health Impacts of smartphone on students daily life is tremendous; there are several ways that smartphone impacting students health. Positive Students (who have history of sick) are able to check their health condition where there have apps (health)


In a addition, these smartphone can be useful for students for exercise (jogging, sports) and diet. Smartphone apps very useful as these apps assist healthcare said Muhammad S. and Tariq R. S. (2013)


x Negative This communication device actually cause harm to students health including his or her psychological well being. Furthermore, smartphone have effect in students sleeping and wake up in the morning.Students often check their phones before getting out of bed in the morning.They also do so while in bed at night before they fall asleep.


Van den Bulck (2003) reported that addictive mobile usage could cause disturbance in students sleeping pattern.


On the bus, waiting in line, in bed, on the treadmill and even while driving, students can't seem to put their phones down.


3. Social The students social life has been drastically changed with the introduction of smartphone.

Positive Smartphone help students to possible to connected with their friends and family all the time.(via apps such as whatsapp, wechat, LINE and so on)In addition, this device help students easily integrated in association. Smartphone can help some student opportunity to live independently.


Smartphone are capable to give some group of students the opportunity to live more independently (Muhammad S. and Tariq R. S. (2013). Kamal K. H et al (2012) said Facebook and Twitter have continued to gain popularity on college campuses. It would be difficult to walk around a college campus without seeing several students using these social media sites

SocialX NegativeHowever, negative effect in social come when the application installed on smartphone allowing students to access the that application such as games, porn and so on. smartphone usage has a social influence on smartphone users (Thinh D. T (2012) Student become lonely with their smartphone (in room) and didnt want to hang out with their friends, family and community.

CommunicationPositiveStudents have a chance to communicate among their friends by using many apps on smartphone Morever, students able to accessed simple voice mail message: google voice, texting, notes, pictures message Nielsen, L. & Webb, W. (2011) have mention cell phones open a new world of tools that can be accessed and used for accommodations required to serve students with special needs


x NegativeThe communication become lack among students, the study group just inside the device. This technology somehow reduce students community life. So, students become less skills of communication such as the interaction, discussion, with others students, people

CONCLUSIONAs a conclusion, the impact of smartphone among students is depend of how students use it. Sometime it can be negative for students didnt use it carefully or it also can be positive for smart students. Students especially university should know how to manage device technology.
