The Informed Servant Newsletter 1 Off to the Races... And we’re off! The Informed Servant officially launches 02 April 2012 and we are eager to get new, innovative articles and stories on the site. With spring taking hold and the weather getting warmer everyday, we are looking forward to welcoming new growth within our Christian community and the world. Sponsorship The Informed Servant is looking for further sponsorship. Sponsors will receive advertisement packages as well as possible additional incentives. Contributors TIS welcomes new contributors! If you know of other informed servants who are proficient with the pen, we would love to hear from them. Anyone wishing to contribute to The Informed Servant may submit a query letter to the Editor, Lindsay Kusiak at [email protected] . Currently, we are seeking short articles as well as some Features. Short articles should range anywhere from 300 to 500 words whereas the length of feature articles will vary based on the subject matter. Please allow 2-4 weeks for query response. Prospective and current contributors, please feel free to browse the following Ideas and Calendar sections for inspirational subject matter. The following ideas are in no way mandatory, but mere suggestions. Current contributors, please feel free to explore other subject matters and email us with ideas and/or thoughts. We endeavor to create a platform where dedicated believers can gather to share godly wisdom, gain a deeper understanding of His Word and the world around them, and be encouraged by like minds and like struggles. The 4 Pillars of Society These four separate sections are devoted to keeping up to date and informed on politics, education, our economy, and the media. Society Investigates the current goings-on of the social climate as it relates to Christianity. Religion Addresses faith- based news from a biblical perspective to produce a better awareness of and more well rounded scope on the current events of world religions. Natural Truth God’s Truth and Word as shown in the created world. Milk & Meat These sections are devoted to bible study. “Milk” is a section devoted to the basic tenets of Christianity while “Meat” is something for more advanced students to sink their teeth into.
