Project Goal

INSPIRE-Grid (Improved and eNhanced Stakeholders Participation In Reinforcement of Electricity Grid) is aimed to contribute to increased stakeholder support and public acceptance for future electricity grid infrastructures.

Expected project output

By way of a multidisciplinary approach, INSPIRE-Grid will develop

a methodology to manage consultation processes in different

settings and design an expert-led European good practice guide.

� the selection of the most appropriate engagement tools and the

development/tailoring of the suitable assessment tools, these

latters being devoted to a “fair” comparison among impacts and

benefits of new grid projects

� the selection and pre-analysis of the project “case-studies” , to

apply and test project outputs

Where we are….

� the analysis and development of a comprehensive “stakeholder’s

map”, allowing the categorization and clustering of the relevant

stakeholders involved in electric grid development projects,

together with the analysis of their main concerns, needs and

wants

2015 will be devoted to the implementation

and testing of the developed methodologies

in real “case studies”, in close co-operation

with the TSO’s partners of INSPIRE-Grid.
