The classes are on Saturday and Sunday.

PROGRAMME INFORMATION

The programme aims to prepare students for the examination on final International Qualifying Scheme (IQS) papers by providing quality tuition and intensive revision courses. The courses are conducted by experienced and knowledgeable facilitators to ensure the fulfilment of ICSA professional programme requirements.

WHAT IS ICSA?

The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) is the leading recognised professional body for Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in the United Kingdom and throughout the world. ICSA is the preferred qualification for company secretary and governance officer among employers in Malaysia.

WHY ICSA?

The Government has also gazetted MAICSA as a prescribed body under the Companies Act, which means that Associate and Fellow members of MAICSA can automatically act as company secretaries without having to apply for a licence from the Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM).

Members of the Institute with more than five years practical tax experience, either in the Government or private sector, are also eligible to apply to become tax agents under Section 153 (3) of Income Tax Act 1967.

How to Get ICSA Qualification?

Related Degree holders - Corporate Administration and Accounting (4 papers ONLY)- Law, Finance and Business Studies (maximum of 6 or 7 papers) depending on the exemptions granted by MAICSA based on Degree courses (2 or 3 papers from IQS Part 1(CPE) and 4 papers from IQS Part 2).

Non-related Degree holders have to complete 8 papers (IQS Part 1 (CPE) and IQS Part 2).

TUITION CENTRE

The ICSA tuition programme offered in FSPPP comprises of two broad categories, namely IQS Part 1 (CPE) and IQS Part 2.

1. IQS Part 1 (CPE) - Seminar & Attendance

Strategic Operation Management, Accounting, Taxation and Company Law

2. IQS Part 2 - Intensive Revision Course & Exam (MAICSA)

Corporate Governance, Corporate Secretaryship, Corporate Administration and Corporate Financial Management

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Open to ALL MALAYSIANS

• IQS Part 1 (CPE) - Professional Diploma of Corporate Administration (PDCA), OR - Related Bachelor Degree (Law, Finance and Business Studies), OR - Non-related Bachelor Degree*

• IQS Part 2 - Related Bachelor Degree (Corporate Administration and Accounting), OR - Non-related Bachelor Degree, upon completion of IQS Part 1 (CPE), OR - Professional Qualifications as approved by MAICSA
