Internship Opportunities with Refugee Focus’s Global Communities Youth Program Get Hands-On Experience. Make a Difference! The Internship Program Offers: • Community involvement and networking opportunities • Leadership skills building • Experience working with cultural diversity and Tucson’s refugee youth population • Fun and exciting outings • Project and lesson planning Responsibilities: • Cultural Liaisons will work closely with and assist refugee students, ages 18-24, who are acting as Education Support Mentors. The time commitment will be approximately 10 hours per week. This position is intended for mature American students between the ages of 18 and 24 who are interested in learning about new cultures and have a strong interest in education. It would be ideal for college students who are interested in entering the Peace Corps after graduation. This is an unpaid internship.
