• When asked to attend an interview, include the following:
• A. A thank-you and gratitude for consideration
• B. Do your homework on the history of the place and people
The Interview
• Review the Job Description and review what they want and match it to your qualities.
• Try it out on your friends, family and in front of the mirror; in the car and when you are alone.
Check your itinerary for Conflicts
• Do you have ability to make interview on time?
• Block out the night before?
• Is your transportation ready?
• Do you have a wake up call?
• Make time for breakfast• Others help your

• If offered a drink, accept water; no coffee or tea

street…they want you as much as you want them..they have to also sell themselves..Take the pressure off…you are looking for a match..their needs and your interests

a. Sit up straight with ankles crossed or legs staggered. Do not cross legs or arms
b. Lean forward on chair; if possible put arms positively on table

jokes..smile and speak truthfully..a consistent, moral background is essential
• This means family, wife, children, parents, fiancee and community

• Recognize this is the time they give up control…use it wisely
• Will someone explain benefits, retirement, perks, the advancement opportunities

• A highly personable letter is acceptable and a warm, personal touch.
• Stress the positive aspects you saw and wish them all the best regardless of their decision.
