• The Iroquois lived in what is now New York.

• Iroquois men wore breechcloths with long leggings.
• Women wore wraparound skirts with short leggings.

• The Iroquois ate corn, beans, squash, deer, fish, and elk.
• The Iroquois were farmers so they planted crops and hunted.

• The Iroquois children went hunting and fishing with their dads.
• Women were in charge of farming, property, and family.
• Men had to hunt, trade, and go to war.
