WHAT’S IN STORE FOR NONPROFITS IN 2018? GET THE BIG PICTURE FROM A NONPROFIT

INSIDER

Featuring: David L. Thompson, Vice President of Public Policy, National Council of Nonprofits, Washington, DC

Junior Leagues, and all charitable nonprofits for that matter, exist to address needs in communities, identify solutions, and bring people together in common purpose. And as with all nonprofits, public policies can enhance or obstruct the abilities of Junior Leagues to advance their missions. Will proposed changes to federal and state tax law incentives make it easier or harder to raise needed funds? How will spending decisions at City Hall, the State Capitol, or in DC af-fect mission partners?

Lawmakers at all levels in 2018 will be considering these and multiple other issues. Nobody can keep track of them all, but David L. Thompson will walk you through the big picture and give tips to help make sure the decisions of policymak-ers reflect the best interests of the work of your League.
