Homework Ø  Students should read for 30 minutes each night. The bag of

books we provide your children needs to be returned each day for in-class activities.

Ø  A weekly homework sheet will be sent home to check off activities to complete.

Ø  When sight words are written in the students planner, study those for the week (write the words on flashcards, highlight in a magazine, write a sentence using the word, etc.)

Ø  Practice writing their name, letters and numbers. Do not forget to practice the sound of the letter and the value of the number!

Ø  Additional activities: practice tying sneakers, opening milk cartons, cheese sticks, fruit cups, juice pouches, etc.

Ø  Memorize car rider number and lunch number!
