4th Degree Faithful Navigator Jerome Pavliska

I hope that everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! The Christmas Party was well attended (more than we anticipated) and I believe most had a very good time!

Recently, the Assembly made a $250 donation to the Texas Women’s Project Fundraiser Event in San Antonio to benefit the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA, which is involved in trying to increase the number of priests serving in the military and we made a $850 donation to the American Legion Auxiliary to sponsor two high school women to attend the Texas Bluebonnet Girls State for 2018.

We still need a volunteer to serve as our Color Corp Commander for the Assembly, please let me know if you are interested in this position.

The first Friday of each month, the Assembly has a Mass for Deceased Sir Knights at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church at 6:00 pm. This month the date is January 5th.

Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, January 9, 2018. We’ll say the Rosary starting at 7:00 pm and the meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Our next Rosary is on Saturday, January 20, at 7:30 am. Please come out to join us to say the Rosary at Msgr. Bily’s monument and then have some refreshments afterwards.

2018 Dues are DUE now! Please pay them to our Faithful Comptroller as soon as possible. Dues are $24.00 per member. Dues for Honorary Members are only $10.00 and Honorary Life Members do not have to pay dues. You can mail your dues to SK Frank Piletere at 1414 Ensenada Dr., Canyon Lake, TX 78133.

Financial Secretary Don Volz 2018 Membership Dues Regular and honorary members of the council should have already received their membership dues invoice for 2018. As of December 12, 2017, about 10% of you had paid your 2018 dues - THANK YOU. Dues are $40 for regular members and $10 for honorary members and are considered delinquent if not paid by January 15th. If you are a regular or honorary member and didn't receive a 2018 dues invoice, please contact me at 830-625-4549 or [email protected]. As a reminder to our more forgetful brothers, we plan to list the names of brothers with unpaid 2018 dues in the March and subsequent editions of this newsletter.
