Description:
John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” (NIV, John 1:29) Sincerity is the seed of righteousness. Good comes from true and selfless motives. In the end, all we think we have gained is taken away. Our lives come to a close, and our fate is decided by God’s judgment, based on the motives we had in life. If we're acting in love for God (Truth and Righteousness) and love for one another (all of mankind), we're doing just fine. Pride is the seed of evil. The sin of the world comes from the pride of man. When we become confident that we are right and that we represent justice, we then decide that certain others represent injustice. Conflict is spawned, a war erupts, and Satan rejoices. We must humble ourselves and realize that we are each only seeing certain angles. All of Truth rests with God. The Lamb of God has never sinned, and He will never do wrong. The sin of man is forgiven by faith in Jesus Christ, who is all of God’s Word and all of his Law. “The Lamb. A Note from the Author

John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of

the world!” (John 1:29)

Sincerity is the seed of righteousness. Good comes from true and selfless motives. In the end,

all we think we have gained is taken away. Our lives come to a close, and our fate is decided by

God’s judgment, based on the motives we had in life. If we're acting in love for God (Truth and

Righteousness) and love for one another (all of mankind), we're doing just fine.

Pride is the seed of evil. The sin of the world comes from the pride of man. When we become

confident that we are right and that we represent justice, we then decide that certain others

represent injustice. Conflict is spawned, a war erupts, and Satan rejoices. We must humble

ourselves and realize that we are each only seeing certain angles. All of Truth rests with God.

The Lamb of God has never sinned, and He will never do wrong. The sin of man is forgiven by

faith in Jesus Christ, who is all of God’s Word and all of his Law.

Nature of the Christ

Page 6: The Lamb. Book 3 of the Path of Man series

Book 3 Page 4

Triumph of the Law

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was

with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made

that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the

darkness, but the darkness has not understood it. (John 1:1)

o Space and Time

During this life, we are contained in time and spatial dimensions. Each of us is contained by a

certain date of conception and a certain date of death; we cannot experience time beyond

these two limits. Our lives are contained spatially by our bodies. Our universe is likewise

contained by a certain beginning date, a certain end date, and spatial limits.

The physical laws of our universe only apply within the limits of our nature.

o Miracles

God exists beyond the limits of our nature. His Law is not contained by the physical laws.

"Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the

fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and it will be

done.” (Matthew 21:20)

Through people of strong faith, God performs healings, visions, and other miracles.

o Expiration of the Physical Laws

In the end, the laws of our universe will be abolished, and His Law will be delivered to all of us.

I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed

away, and there was no longer any sea. … “There will be no more death or mourning or crying

or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." … There will be no more night. They will

not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun. (Revelation 21:1)

Book 3 Page 5

The Son of Man

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the

government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called

Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father,

Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6)

o Wonderful Counselor

We all try to justify. We are all doing what we think is right.

The justification of man allows for war, as long as we assume

the other side’s evil. We have people with a hundred

diamonds, and we have people that go days without food or

clean water. For true counsel, turn not to the world. Turn to

the words of Jesus Christ, and ask for His guidance.

o Mighty God

Jesus Christ will be challenged by all the armies and all the

governments of the world. In one breath, they will be

defeated. All that we have built will be thrown down. All

that makes us proud will be torn away. At the proper time,

God will deliver the only true justice. He alone will be

exalted, and He will rule us with an iron scepter.

o Everlasting Father

God was not created as the universe was created. He

precedes time itself, and He is the creator and the father of

all things. Jesus Christ is his one true Way. The way of this

world will expire, and all of us who have rejected Him will be

rejected by Him. All of us who reject ourselves to glory Him

will be gloried by Him, and His kingdom will have no end.

Page 8: The Lamb. Book 3 of the Path of Man series

Book 3 Page 6

o Prince of Peace

“Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but

a sword. For I have come to turn ‘a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a

daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law—a man’s enemies will be the members of his own

household.’ Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone

who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. Whoever does not take up

their cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever

loses their life for my sake will find it.” (Matthew 10:34)

Jesus Christ did not come to brighten the world with smiles. He came to brighten the world

with truth. He taught a difficult Way, which is to deny ourselves and to praise what we cannot

see with our eyes. We should not be proud, and we should not be sure of ourselves. We should

take pride in Him and be sure of His perfection. In this, we gain peace. Rest knowing that He is

in heaven and He will return. At that time, He will end what is wrong in the world, and He will

establish a kingdom of Justice. The creation of the new heavens and the new earth will bring

eternal life and eternal peace. Men will never bring peace to the earth. One day He will.

The Father in Heaven

“It is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. Believe me when I say that I am in the

Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves. Very

truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even

greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in

my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my

name, and I will do it. If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will

give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever—the Spirit of truth. The world

cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives

with you and will be in you. … The Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my

name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. Peace I

leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your

hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. You heard me say, ‘I am going away and I am coming

back to you.’ If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is

greater than I.” (John 14:9)

o His Will

Jesus Christ, who is the Son of Man and the Son of God, has been given to us as the only

perfection in the flesh. He has shown us the exact will of the Father and the only way to

salvation. As a man, He experienced all the temptations of the sinful world, and He brought

mankind into the realm of Righteousness. In His return, He will put an end to all those who

neglect his Word or twist it at the expense of others, and He will finish the path of mankind.

o The Holy Trinity

The Father is the everlasting will of God,

which purposed the world from the beginning.

The Son is the everlasting flesh of God,

which endured suffering as a part of mankind.

The Holy Spirit is the everlasting soul of God

and the faith and light for those who ask.

The First Coming

o The Narrow Gate

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to

destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to

life, and only a few find it. … Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom

of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to

me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out

demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew

you. Away from me, you evildoers.’” (Matthew 7:21)

Jesus Christ is the only man to have never sinned, despite the trials He faced in this world.

Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. After fasting forty days

and forty nights, he was hungry. The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God,

tell these stones to become bread.” Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread

alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” Then the devil took him to the

holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. “If you are the Son of God,” he

said, “throw yourself down. For it is written: “‘He will command his angels concerning you, and

they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’” Jesus

answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’” Again, the devil

took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their

splendor. “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.” Jesus said to

him, “Away from me, Satan.” (Matthew 4:1)

In His first coming, He was tested by the devil, and He was rejected and crucified by His people.

Ministry

He began to teach. … “Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for

theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and

falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.” (Matthew 5:1)

o Advice

We often seek comfort. The way to righteousness is suffering.

Provide comfort for others, but rejoice in your own suffering, knowing that you will be refined.

o The First Coming

Jesus Christ was rejected by the teachers of the law. He was beaten and whipped. A crown of

thorns was forced into his head. He was made to carry the cross to the site of his crucifixion. He

was hung on that cross, with nails driven through his hands and feet, until he died hours later.

We also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;

perseverance, character; and character, hope. (Romans 5:3)

Page 12: The Lamb. Book 3 of the Path of Man series

Book 3 Page 10

Sacrifice

“Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and

follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me

will save it.” (Luke 9:23)

o Advice

We often seek ease or luxury. The way to righteousness is dedication and sacrifice.

Be willing to sacrifice all that you have, knowing that you will be repaid in full, not immediately

and not in this life, but in the end.

o The First Coming

Jesus Christ sacrificed his life for mankind. We must not abandon faith to protect our own lives.

“Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep

it for eternal life. Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be.

My Father will honor the one who serves me.” (John 12:25)

Page 13: The Lamb. Book 3 of the Path of Man series

Book 3 Page 11

Blessing

“Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by

my Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church.”

(Matthew 16:17)

o Advice

Truth is God’s blessing. It is not an achieved wisdom.

For money or knowledge, you can work or study. For eternal forgiveness, God must bless you.

o The First Coming

All of us on earth are sinful. Only one, Jesus Christ, lived a Righteous life. Pray for His blessing.

Large crowds were traveling with Jesus, and turning to them he said: “If anyone comes to me

and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters—yes, even their

own life—such a person cannot be my disciple. And whoever does not carry their cross and

follow me cannot be my disciple.” (Luke 14:25)

Page 14: The Lamb. Book 3 of the Path of Man series

Book 3 Page 12

The Second Coming

o The Only One

We must realize that we all fall short of righteousness. With love, we should help each other

turn from sin and towards Jesus Christ by the way of repentance.

“If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have

treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” When the young man heard this, he went away sad,

because he had great wealth. Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for

someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to

go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”

(Matthew 19:21)

We should never condemn others for the things they have yet to figure out. Not one of us is

perfect or completely faithful, or else we would not be here. Almost all of us still have faith so

weak that we desire wealth or other things. We will not be perfect until we realize that the only

reward of this world and this life is heaven.

“You are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you have one Teacher, and you are all brothers. And do not

call anyone on earth ‘father,’ for you have one Father, and he is in heaven. Nor are you to be

called instructors, for you have one Instructor, the Messiah. The greatest among you will be your

servant. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will

be exalted.” (Matthew 23:8)

In His first coming, Jesus taught us the only Way: humble ourselves and exalt God. He left us in

a world that will resist until its last breath. In His second coming, His Way alone will be exalted.

Book 3 Page 13

Tribulation

“Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” (John 8:7)

o Advice

We often judge and punish. The way of righteousness is forgiveness, in all circumstances.

Each of us is given a unique life and unique tribulation. We all sin. We all fall short of God’s Law.

Therefore, each of us must humble himself and come to repentance. To deny others a chance

for repentance is to deny God’s purpose in giving us this life.

o The Second Coming

During the final seven years before the millennial kingdom, mankind will be faced with a

universal tribulation. No man will be blameless. We will all experience the great trial so that

God may see each of our motives and so that we are refined before His kingdom.

Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though

something strange were happening to you. But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the

sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. (1 Peter 4:12)

Page 16: The Lamb. Book 3 of the Path of Man series

Book 3 Page 14

Wrath

“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love

your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” (Matthew 5:43)

o Advice

It is instinct to hate those that wrong us. The difficult way of righteousness is to instead pray for

their sake.

Pray for their guidance. Try to understand why they feel the way that they do or are the way

they are. Pray that God forgives you for your instinct to hate your own brother.

o The Second Coming

At the end of the great tribulation, God’s wrath will be poured out onto the earth. Then Jesus

Christ will resurrect the righteous, those who repented and tried to become better than

themselves. At the end of His millennium kingdom, He will resurrect and judge all of mankind.

“For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will

be measured to you.” (Matthew 7:2)

Page 17: The Lamb. Book 3 of the Path of Man series

Book 3 Page 15

Justice

“You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’ But I tell you, do not resist

an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. And if

anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well.” (Matthew 5:38)

o Advice

Righteousness is not reached by fighting others for what you think is right. It is reached when

you lay down your sword, knowing full well the consequences.

Stand and accept persecution. Do not willingly compromise with sin. Maintain your faith in Him.

o The Second Coming

In the end times, many will be fighting for what they perceive as justice. Until they humble

themselves and repent to the only Justice, they will only be furthering the sin of mankind.

“In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to

repent. For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has

appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead.” (Acts 17:30)

The Body

o Evolution

Everything is as it should be. Since God began the universe with the Big Bang, everything has

developed according to His purpose. Every occurrence is an effect of a cause and a cause of an

effect. All earthly species of life, including Homo sapiens, have emerged at their proper time.

These are a few of the thousands of Homo sapiens fossils we have discovered.

The Soul

o Physical Life and Death (of the Body)

Many people believe there was no physical death before Adam and that he must have been the

first earthly life form, or at least the first human. They dismiss fossils and artifacts as hoaxes, or

they argue that there must be something wrong with the dating techniques. We cannot hold to

conclusions like those. Fossils are not here to trick us; they are here to help us learn and move

closer to the truth.

Physical death of the body has been occurring for billions of years. Homo sapiens have been

living and dying for hundreds of thousands of years. With Adam came the beginning of spiritual

life and death, the union and disunion of the human soul with God.

o Spiritual Life and Death (of the Soul)

The LORD God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you

must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will

certainly die.” (Genesis 2:16)

Adam ate from the tree of knowledge and began the path to spiritual death. Some argue that

he would have physically lived forever if he had not eaten from the tree of knowledge; this is

not true, by itself. If Adam had never sinned and had remained in the Garden, he would have

physically died in the Garden, unless he was to eat from the tree of life.

"The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to

reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever." (Genesis 3:22)

Adam’s body was going to experience physical death, regardless of whether he ate from the

tree of knowledge. When he did so, he sinned and brought forth spiritual death in mankind.

o The Path of Man

With the creation of Adam, God gave spiritual life to an earthly being. The human race began its

path towards Truth and its trial towards Righteousness.

Page 21: The Lamb. Book 3 of the Path of Man series

Book 3 Page 19

The Mind

o Free Will

Our mind is our will. Our will is our motive. It is not by what we do or say, but by our every

motive that we will be judged by God. Everything happens in accordance with God’s purpose,

but we each decide our own will. This is why sincerity is the seed of righteousness.

o Death and Judgment

People are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment. (Hebrews 9:27)

We each experience physical death once. And we will each be resurrected and judged once.

Jesus Christ will resurrect His faithful servants before the millennial kingdom.

I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus. … They

came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. The rest of the dead did not come to life

until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy are those

who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be

priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years. (Revelation 20:4)

After the thousand years, all of mankind since Adam will be resurrected and judged.

The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in

them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. Then death and Hades

were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. Anyone whose name was

not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:13)

o The Holy Trinity

God consists of mind, body, and soul.

The Father is the mind, the will, of God.

The Son is the body, the flesh, of God.

The Holy Spirit is the soul of God.

Resurrection

o Work and Rest

With the creation of Adam, God began His work to renew the earth and bring mankind into the

realm of Truth and Righteousness. His work will be completed in six days, and He will rest

during the seventh day, while Jesus Christ rules on the earth.

By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he

rested from all his work. (Genesis 2:2)

o One Day to God. One Thousand Years to Man

A thousand years in your sight are like a day. (Psalm 90:4)

Do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a

thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand

slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to

repentance. (2 Peter 3:8)

The first day of the seven-day plan of renewal began with the creation of Adam in 3968 BC.

The seventh day will begin in 2033 AD, and the faithful followers of Jesus Christ will be

resurrected. At the end of the seventh day, all of mankind will be resurrected and judged.

Day 1. Separation of Light

God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he

separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called

“night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day. (Genesis 1:3)

o 3968 BC - 2968 BC

Through God, mankind was given its first blessing. Through the deception of the devil, mankind

learned sin. In the first day, good and evil became known, light and darkness became

separated, and the trial of man began.

When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and

also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband,

who was with her, and he ate it. Then the eyes of both of them were opened. … And the LORD

God said, "The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil." (Genesis 3:6)

Day 2. Separation of Water

God said, “Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water.” So God

made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above it. And it

was so. God called the expanse “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the

second day. (Genesis 1:6)

o 2968 BC - 1968 BC

In a world of sin, Noah maintained faith and gained God’s favor. In the second day, the time

came for God to refine the earth with water.

In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, on the seventeenth day of the second month—on that

day all the springs of the great deep burst forth, and the floodgates of the heavens were

opened. And rain fell on the earth forty days and forty nights. (Genesis 7:11)

After forty days of rain, the surface of the earth was covered in water. The floodwaters

remained for five months. Then the waters were separated, and the sky became visible.

Page 26: The Lamb. Book 3 of the Path of Man series

Book 3 Page 24

Day 3. Planting of Seeds

God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.”

And it was so. God called the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters he called “seas.” And

God saw that it was good. Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants

and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was

so. … And there was evening, and there was morning—the third day. (Genesis 1:9)

o 1968 BC - 968 BC

“Look around from where you are, to the north and south, to the east and west. All the land that

you see I will give to you and your offspring forever. I will make your offspring like the dust of

the earth, so that if anyone could count the dust, then your offspring could be counted. Go, walk

through the length and breadth of the land, for I am giving it to you.” (Genesis 13:14)

In the third day, God promised Abraham that his seed would spread throughout the world and

give rise to the true faith. After generations of Egyptian enslavement, Moses led the Jews

across the Red Sea and into the Promised Land. Abraham’s seed took root.

Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all that night the LORD drove the sea back with a

strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided, and the Israelites went

through the sea on dry ground. (Exodus 14:21)

Day 4. Sun, Moon, Stars

God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and

let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years, and let them be lights in the

expanse of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so. God made two great lights—the

greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars.

God set them in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth, to govern the day and the

night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. And there was

evening, and there was morning—the fourth day. (Genesis 1:14)

o 968 BC - 33 AD

The fourth day began with Solomon’s Temple and the prophets, the first stars.

John the Baptist, the lesser light, shone in the darkness before the arrival of Jesus Christ, the

greater light, and the Lord’s apostles, the stars, to deliver to mankind the light of the gospels.

Day 5. Fish and Birds

God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the

expanse of the sky.” So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living and moving

thing with which the water teems, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to

its kind. And God saw that it was good. God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and increase in

number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.” And there was

evening, and there was morning—the fifth day. (Genesis 1:20)

o 33 AD - 1033 AD

“But whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will

become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life." (John 4:14)

"Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will send you out to fish for people." (Matthew 4:19)

Following the crucifixion of Jesus, the Church began to share the gospels. In the fifth day, the

religion that began with Abraham spread out of Israel and throughout the world.

Day 6. Man and Beast

God said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, creatures

that move along the ground, and wild animals, each according to its kind.” And it was so. God

made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the

creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.

Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of

the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures

that move along the ground.” … And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.

(Genesis 1:27)

o 1033 AD - 2033 AD

In the sixth day, mankind conquered the earth, and all of its continents and inhabitants. The

wildest beasts are contained in zoos. People on opposite sides of the world can communicate

with the click of a button. Man has begun to leave the surface of the earth and explore the solar

system. The beast will subdue the planet in the final seven years before the return of Christ.

Day 7. Rest

Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array. (Genesis 2:1)

By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he

rested from all his work. And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he

rested from all the work of creating that he had done. (Genesis 2:2)

o 2033 AD - 3033 AD

He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a

thousand years. (Revelation 20:2)

I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and

because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not

received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a

thousand years. (Revelation 20:4)

Sheep and Goats

“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious

throne. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from

another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right

and the goats on his left.” (Matthew 25:31)

o The Gathering

“I myself will gather the remnant of my flock out of all the countries where I have driven them

and will bring them back to their pasture, where they will be fruitful and increase in number. I

will place shepherds over them who will tend them, and they will no longer be afraid or terrified,

nor will any be missing.” (Jeremiah 23:3)

He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes, or decide by what he hears with his ears; but

with righteousness he will judge the needy, with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the

earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; with the breath of his lips he will slay

the wicked. Righteousness will be his belt and faithfulness the sash around his waist.

(Isaiah 11:3)

o Resurrection of the Judges

“I will vent my wrath on my foes and avenge myself on my enemies. I will turn my hand against

you; I will thoroughly purge away your dross and remove all your impurities. I will restore your

leaders as in days of old, your rulers as at the beginning. Afterward you will be called the City of

Righteousness, the Faithful City.” Zion will be delivered with justice, her penitent ones with

righteousness. But rebels and sinners will both be broken, and those who forsake the LORD will

perish. (Isaiah 1:24)

I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the

souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of

the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark

on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

(Revelation 20:4)

o Gog and Magog

When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to

deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—and to gather them for

battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore. They marched across the breadth of

the earth and surrounded the camp of God’s people, the city he loves. But fire came down from

heaven and devoured them. And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of

burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. (Revelation 20:7)

“Gog, of the land of Magog … I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out

with your whole army … the many nations with you. ‘Get ready; be prepared, you and all the

hordes gathered about you, and take command of them. After many days you will be called to

arms. In future years you will invade a land that has recovered from war, whose people were

gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate. They had

been brought out from the nations, and now all of them live in safety. You and all your troops

and the many nations with you will go up, advancing like a storm; you will be like a cloud

covering the land. … In that day, when my people Israel are living in safety, will you not take

notice of it? You will come from your place in the far north, you and many nations with you, all

of them riding on horses, a great horde, a mighty army. You will advance against my people

Israel like a cloud that covers the land. In days to come, Gog, I will bring you against my land. …

I will execute judgment on him with plague and bloodshed; I will pour down torrents of rain,

hailstones and burning sulfur on him and on his troops and on the many nations with him. And

so I will show my greatness and my holiness, and I will make myself known in the sight of many

nations. Then they will know that I am the LORD.’” (Ezekiel 38:2)

o Exaltation of the Lord

Their land is full of silver and gold; there is no end to their treasures. Their land is full of horses;

there is no end to their chariots. Their land is full of idols; they bow down to the work of their

hands, to what their fingers have made. So people will be brought low and everyone humbled.

Do not forgive them. Go into the rocks, hide in the ground from the fearful presence of the LORD

and the splendor of his majesty! The eyes of the arrogant will be humbled and human pride

brought low; the LORD alone will be exalted in that day. (Isaiah 2:7)

Peace and Truth

“‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth

as it is in heaven.’” (Matthew 6:10)

o Peace with Animals

The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and

the yearling together; and a little child will lead them. The cow will feed with the bear, their

young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox. The infant will play near the

cobra’s den, and the young child will put its hand into the viper’s nest. They will neither harm

nor destroy on all my holy mountain, for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the LORD

as the waters cover the sea. (Isaiah 11:6)

o No Weapons. No War

He will judge between many peoples and will settle disputes for strong nations far and wide.

They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not

take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore. (Micah 4:3)

o Long Lives

Death and sin will continue in the millennial kingdom, and people will still have free will. But

they will live longer lives. Everyone that passes away will be resurrected and judged when the

thousand years are over, when God creates the new heavens and the new earth.

“Never again will there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not

live out his years; the one who dies at a hundred will be thought a mere child; the one who fails

to reach a hundred will be considered accursed. They will build houses and dwell in them; they

will plant vineyards and eat their fruit. No longer will they build houses and others live in them,

or plant and others eat. … Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear.

The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox, and dust will be

the serpent’s food. They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain.” (Isaiah 65:20)

o The Third Temple

I saw a wall completely surrounding the temple area. … Then he went to the east gate. He

climbed its steps and measured the threshold of the gate. … Then he brought me into the outer

court. There I saw some rooms and a pavement that had been constructed all around the court;

there were thirty rooms along the pavement. … Then he measured the length and width of the

north gate, leading into the outer court. … Then he led me to the south side and I saw the south

gate. … A room with a doorway was by the portico in each of the inner gateways, where the

burnt offerings were washed. … The glory of the LORD entered the temple through the gate

facing east. Then the Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court, and the glory of

the LORD filled the temple. … “Son of man, this is the place of my throne and the place for the

soles of my feet. This is where I will live among the Israelites forever.” (Ezekiel 40:5)

o Festival of Tabernacles

It will be inhabited; never again will it be destroyed. Jerusalem will be secure. … Then the

survivors from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship

the King, the LORD Almighty, and to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles. If any of the peoples of

the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, they will have no

rain. (Zechariah 14:11)

o Garden in Jerusalem

The LORD will surely comfort Zion and will look with compassion on all her ruins; he will make her

deserts like Eden, her wastelands like the garden of the LORD. Joy and gladness will be found in

her, thanksgiving and the sound of singing. (Isaiah 51:3)

In a very short time, will not Lebanon be turned into a fertile field and the fertile field seem like a

forest? In that day the deaf will hear the words of the scroll, and out of gloom and darkness the

eyes of the blind will see. Once more the humble will rejoice in the LORD; the needy will rejoice in

the Holy One of Israel. The ruthless will vanish, the mockers will disappear, and all who have an

eye for evil will be cut down. (Isaiah 29:17)

Conditions

Water Scarcity. United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs

“Around 1.2 billion people live in areas of physical scarcity, and 500 million people are

approaching this situation. Another 1.6 billion people face economic water shortage.”

“By 2025, 1.8 billion people will be living in countries or regions with absolute water scarcity,

and two-thirds of the world's population could be living under water stressed conditions. With

the existing climate change scenario, almost half the world's population will be living in areas

of high water stress by 2030, including between 75 million and 250 million people in Africa.”

Many nuclear experts believe that if Iran develops a nuclear weapon, Saudi Arabia will do the

same, in the interest of its own security.

o Abortions

Each year in the United States, there are 1.3 million abortions. Each year worldwide, there are

40-50 million abortions. The total number of other deaths worldwide is about 55 million.

o Global Economy

[The false prophet] exercised all the authority of the first beast on its behalf, and made the earth

and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed. … It also forced

all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands

or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the

name of the beast or the number of its name. (Revelation 13:12)

I’m not an expert economist. What I do know is that many people are expecting a global

economic collapse much worse than that of 2008. When conditions worsen, governments

respond by tightening their grips; more control and oversight gives the impression of more

security. The debate about the economic implications of regulations will never end.

This is certain: the mark of the beast will require a government that can regulate across the

globe. We have seen some far-reaching empires throughout time, but we have not yet seen

one with so much global control that it forces “all people” to receive a mark of its ungodliness.

o Instant Communication

Internet access of course has its benefits, and the worldwide increase is generally seen as a

good trend. With the good comes the bad. The order for the mark of the beast will need to be

delivered to the entire world. Imagine just 50 years ago, how long it would have taken.

Falling and Standing

o The Falling Away

You must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own

evil desires. They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died,

everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.” (2 Peter 3:3)

Before the late 18th century, there were virtually no atheists on the planet. Almost all people

believed in God, or a god, or some sort of universal life force. Today, more people than ever

before are proclaiming atheism, denying even the concept of God.

Note: in many Middle Eastern countries, it is illegal to call yourself an atheist.

Beyond these numbers, many people who identify as Christian don’t actually understand what

that means. For example, in the Canadian Ipsos Reid poll, 30% of people answered that they

were atheist, but out of the people who answered that they were Christians, 29% also

answered that they do not believe in a god.

o Standing in Christ

Many people think our Western society is improving the world by furthering the ease and

luxury of our everyday lives. Consider this: to support earth’s current population living as the

average Westerner does would require the resources of 3.5 planet earths. We could not live the

way we do if it was not at the expense of billions of other people.

The point of our lives is to realize what’s right: Jesus Christ and His way. Part of that is realizing

what’s wrong in the world. It is not up to us to perfect the world. He will do that. Everything in

the world happens as it should when it should; it is our trial. He will completely destroy and

remake the world, but He will not remake us. What we learn will forever define us, and it alone

will be the reason for our destruction or acceptance on Judgment Day.

History of the Millennium

o Jewish Origins

“Millennium,” Encyclopedia Britannica, eleventh edition, page 459

“’In six days God created the world, on the seventh He rested. But a day of God is equal to a

thousand years (Psalm 90:4). Hence the world will last for six thousand years of toil and labor;

then will come one thousand years of Sabbath rest for the people of God in the kingdom of the

Messiah.’ This idea must have already been very common in the first century before Christ.”

“Eschatology,” The Jewish Encyclopedia, V, page 211

“The present world of toil is to be followed by a Sabbatical millennium, ‘the world to come.’ Of

these the six millenniums were again divided, as in Parsism, into three periods: the first 2,000

years devoid of the law; the next 2,000 years under the rule of the law; and the last 2,000 years

preparing amid struggles and through catastrophes for the rule of the Messiah.”

o Early Christians

Barnabas, Epistle of Barnabas (100 AD)

“Of the Sabbath He speaketh in the beginning of the creation; ‘And God made the works of his

hands in six days, and He ended on the seventh day, and rested on it.’ … In six thousand years

the Lord shall bring all things to an end; for the day with Him signifieth a thousand years; and

this He himself beareth me witness, saying, ‘Behold, the day of the Lord shall be as a thousand

years.’ Therefore, children, in six days, that is in six thousand years, everything shall come to an

end. ‘And He rested on the seventh day.’ This he meaneth; when His Son shall come, and shall

abolish the time of the Lawless One, and shall judge the ungodly, and shall change the sun and

the moon and the stars, then shall He truly rest on the seventh day.”

Irenaeus, Against Heresies (180 AD)

“For in as many days as this world was made, in so many thousand years shall it be concluded.

And for this reason the Scripture says: ‘Thus the heaven and the earth were finished, and all

their adornment. And God brought to a conclusion upon the sixth day the works that He had

made; and God rested upon the seventh day from all His works.’ This is an account of the things

formerly created, as also it is a prophecy of what is to come. For the day of the Lord is as a

thousand years; and in six days created things were completed: it is evident, therefore, that

they will come to an end at the sixth thousand year.”

It Will Be Soon

o Response to Preterism

Preterists consider Revelation completely figurative and to have already been fulfilled in the

first century. Much of Path of Man is a guess, but I am sure of this: the Day of God is still to

come. It will be like Noah's flood but with fire and worse. Our Lord will completely destroy and

remake the heavens and the earth. He will resurrect and judge all of mankind since Adam.

It will be soon. Many people in the first century thought it would come in their generation. It

didn't. But the words didn't pass away. They were passed on for the past 2,000 years through

many generations that expected it and were wrong. Many of us today see signs, in Israel in

particular, and think it will come in this generation. It could, or it could be thousands of years

away. But it will come soon. We are told to keep praying for His eternal kingdom, the New

Jerusalem, to come. It's not a figurative promise that's already been fulfilled.

o Peter, the Rock

Long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water

and by water. By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. By the

same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of

judgment and destruction of the ungodly. But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With

the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow

in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not

wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will

come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire,

and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be destroyed in

this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look

forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the

heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. But in keeping with his promise we are

looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells. (2 Peter 3:5)

“Obey everything I have commanded you. I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

(Matthew 28:20)

Page 43: The Lamb. Book 3 of the Path of Man series

Appendix The Lamb

Theory

Path of Man is a work of theory, not truth.

The 7000-year theory has been studied for thousands of years. The basic 7-day structure is this:

the Messiah, Jesus Christ, was revealed after 4 days (4000 years), He will return after 2 days

(2000 years), and He will reign on earth for the final day (the millennial kingdom). In Genesis,

the seventh day is God’s day of rest. For all of us, the seventh day is the Sabbath.

When I first learned about the 7000-year theory, I wanted to verify the dates for each day. I

learned that our best guess for the crucifixion is 33 AD, so I sought to place the creation of

Adam in 3968 BC. I reached this date using synchronisms from Genesis, Exodus, 1 Kings, 2 Kings,

Acts, and Galatians. The seventh day would therefore begin in 2033. The full chronology is

included in Timelines. I learned that the best-known chronology of the Bible, that of Archbishop

James Ussher, placed the creation of Adam in 4004 BC. I applied two corrections: (i) a better

date for the completion of Solomon’s temple, and (ii) an interpretation of “beget” as meaning

“conceived,” rather than “birthed.” Ussher’s corrected date for the creation is 3969 BC.

In writing Forecasters, I learned that Nostradamus had also reached the date of 3968 BC. He

expected a “great conflagration” to occur just before the start of the seventh millennium, 2033.

He seemed to describe events of the great tribulation and the millennial kingdom. Several

forecasters, including Li Chun-Feng, Zhuge Liang, Judah ben Samuel, and Yitzhak Kaduri, also

seemed to place the great tribulation in the early 21st century. Several Catholic saints

experienced visions of specific events that will occur during the end times. I call these people

forecasters since the only definite prophets of God are those from scripture. However, the

apostle Paul reminded us that the gift of prophecy would continue throughout the Church Age.

God made the universe and everything in it. I believe that the current state of the universe is

the result of billions of years of cooling and planetary formation following the Big Bang, which

describes the initial creation of time and space. And I believe that the human body is a result of

the evolution of Earthly species, all created at the proper time according to God’s purpose.

Adam marked the beginning of the knowledge of sin and of spiritual life and death. I believe

that the Garden was a place near Mesopotamia, where God resided with Adam and Eve. When

they betrayed Him, they were cast out and mankind learned of sin. Mankind began developing

intelligent civilizations, where it would live and be tried until the return of Righteousness.

More Theory

Perhaps God did make the earth only several thousand years ago, and He made it with fossils,

and with history already written. Or perhaps He made it just as you were born, with all history

before you already written down. Or maybe He made it just now, with all of history and all of

your memories already set in stone.

Truth

Our two sources of absolute truth are scripture and the Holy Spirit. Mankind has been plagued

by sin for almost 6,000 years. There is only One who is perfect, and He is God. The sinless Lamb

of God was sacrificed so that He could rise and so that faith through Him would provide

mankind a path to forgiveness. In this life, we cannot be fully righteous. Our purpose is to strive

towards He that is Righteous, with love for all, and to come to repentance when we fall short.

Truly God wants all of us to come to repentance. Jesus Christ will one day return to the world,

and He will establish His kingdom, and He will bring mankind, all of us, into the realm of Truth.

So I’ll finish with this: humble yourself, forgive all others, and maintain absolute faith in God.
