us and the stifling summer heat stillweeks away, now is the perfect timeto get outside and enjoy some funspring activities. Here are a few ideas:

See where it all begins. Search fornearby farms that offer tours showinghow foods such as milk, cheese andhoney are made. Kids especially willget a kick out of seeing cows, pigs, goats and other barnyard favoritesin person.

Stop and smell the roses. Visit a

botanical garden or arboretum toexperience fresh spring blossoms intheir full glory.

Take a swing at spring fun.Miniature golf is a great way to get agroup of friends or relatives together, and it’s entertaining for all ages andskill levels.

Shop for the season. Farmers’markets are back in business, sotreat your taste buds and your tableto fresh produce and flowers fromlocal vendors.

Wonder at wildlife. Take a trip tothe zoo; with the weather still mild, theanimals will likely be more active, andyou may even get a chance to seesome newborn critters!

Savor the taste of spring. Ablanket, a basket of goodies, andsome loved ones are all you need totake part in a traditional picnic. Pack aball, Frisbee or kite for an extraserving of fun after the meal.
