Day One

MORNING A warm welcome awaits you to the beautiful riverside town of Carrick-on-Shannon and The Landmark Hotel. Arrive early and take time to settle in before you cross the road to the luxury cruiser that awaits you... We look forward to welcoming you.

AFTERNOON Moon River; 1 hour Cruise – relax in the comfort of this luxury cruiser and enjoy the wonders and beauty of the waterway whilst hearing all about the flora and fauna of the river Shannon and local history.

EVENING Boardwalk Café; 4 Course Dinner – enjoy a fabulous evening meal in the award winning Boardwalk Café. Offering extensive Lunch & Evening Menus, The Boardwalk is renowned for its excellent cuisine and service.

LATE EVENING Carrick Bowl – A fun time awaits you at Carrick Bowl where you will enjoy an hour of bowling in this wonderful new complex.

Day Two

MORNING Strokestown House & Gardens – Enjoy a guided tour of Strokestown House and the wonderful historical museum and treat yourself to a stroll through the beautiful gardens.

AFTERNOON Arigna Mining Experience – here you will receive an insight into the coal mining life of Arigna (1700s - 1990). Throughout the 45 minute tour, a former Miner will share stories of what it was like to work in some of the narrowest coal seams in the western world.

EVENING Boardwalk Café; 4 Course Dinner – A warm welcome awaits you once again, as you dine in the comfort of the stylish Boardwalk Café.

LATE EVENING Mallard Music – End your day in the more traditional and cosy Mallard Bar. It is the perfect setting for a relaxing after dinner drink while you enjoy (or sing along with!!) our musical entertainment.

Day Three

MORNING Lough Key Forest; Park Tree Top Canopy Walk – Your day will begin with a self guided walk through the historical grounds and the beautiful Tree Top Canopy Walk where you will enjoy the most breath taking views.

AFTERNOON Tobernalt Holy Well – take some time at Tobernalt Holy Well to sit, relax and reflect. (Be sure to bring a bottle for some holy water for home).

LATE AFTERNOON Afternoon Tea – Rest a while in the tranquil setting of Aroma’s Café located in our conservatory overlooking the River Shannon and enjoy our famous Afternoon Tea; a delicious selection of open sandwiches and homemade pastries.
