In the news!

http://www.careandnursing-magazine.co.uk/national-care-home-open-day/

The event at The Lawn care home in Holybourne was made possible thanks to the support of local schools and ex-mayor Graham Hill, who gave a talk to residents and guests.

Pupils from Eggar’s School entertained residents and visitors with sports, music and drama performances, while lots of fantastic artwork was on display throughout the day from the children of Binsted Church of England Primary School, who presented The Lawn with some art to keep, and Alton Convent School.

As well as a day of entertainment, an afternoon tea party gave residents and visitors the opportunity to get to know one another and make new friends. Mrs George, who lives at The Lawn, said: “It was a lovely day. It was so nice to see all of the children and listen to their singing.”
