YOUR STREETS. YOUR CHOICE.

ELECTION DAY IS APRIL 9TH

On April 9th, you will be asked to vote on a ¼ cent

sales tax for streets.

HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW.

YOUR STREETS.YOUR CHOICE.

WHY IT MATTERS:Today, 42% of Lincoln’s streets need expensive resurfacing or rebuilding. Studies show the longer you wait to fix a street, the more it costs to repair.

The City has learned over the years that investing MORE in street repairs today means avoiding EXPENSIVE street work in the future. The Lincoln residents group recommended new funding to increase the City’s annual investment in streets.
