PRODUCT NEWS

small and low carbon footprint Refuelling hydrant carts are proven around the world as an effective and efficient method of aviation refuelling. With a small physical footprint and low carbon footprint, they are gaining popularity at the world’s busiest airports, reducing congestion on the tarmac, and saving time and money for operators.

Liquip Hydrant Carts contain equipment for accomplishing fuel transfers between a bulk storage hydrant fuelling system and an aircraft. It uses fuel pressure and electronics to operate the flow control. Electric interlocks are used to prevent flow operation of the cart unless the brakes are set. A mechanical meter / register is also used. The electric

power is supplied by a battery, which is charged by two solar panels.

The fuelling system consists of hoses and nozzles to connect to the hydrant and the aircraft, a fuel monitor to filter the fuel and remove water, a meter/register to measure the fuel being dispensed, a control valve, hose reel, plus various pipe weldments and couplings.

every END is the start of something NEW

It is with mixed feelings that we announced Dennis Hughes leaving Liquip at the end of January. Dennis has been with Liquip for 8 years and is an integral member of Liquip’s Filtration division, Fuelling Solutions. While we are disappointed that Dennis is leaving Fuelling Solutions and we will miss him greatly, we are pleased to announce that he will be joining our long term Filtration partners ‘Parker Velcon’ filtration division.

This change is an exciting move for both Dennis and Velcon and will further cement our relationship as his new role as BDM Asia Pacific will ensure a continuation of this already close partnership. We wish Dennis the very best and look forward to working with him in his new role.

It is also with our great pleasure to introduce Camila Carvalho who will be taking over Dennis Hughes’ role.

Camila joined Liquip Aviation - Internal Sales Department in January 2012. Camila graduated in Chemical Engineering in Sao Paulo, her hometown in Brazil and her previous work experience involved technical sales with an international company specialising in compact heat exchangers and centrifuge equipment. As the opportunity arose, Camila was appointed as an Applications Engineer within Liquip Fuelling Solutions and has been under the guidance and training of Dennis since early 2013.

For all future filtration matters and enquiries, please do not hesitate to contact Camila on:
