MAY 19, 2013 BULLETIN RAY’S REMARKS: I hope you all are having a great week. It has certainly been a blessed week for all of us who have at- tended the Bible Institute Of Missouri Lectureship. We have had good speakers all week so far and God has blessed us with good attendance. I look forward to our final night tomorrow (Wednesday) when brother Allen Fischgrabe and Jerry Sullins will be wrapping up our lectureship . I also hope you all have enjoyed our theme and benefited from our discussion on the home. It is always good to be reminded about the teaching of God on such important topics. How blessed we are to have a Perfect Word from a Perfect God. May we always follow its pure teachings. During our lectureship we have also been blessed to have lots of visitors. Some have even been from our community, from the fliers that were handed out. We had a good number present on Saturday, over 15 to help hand out fliers around the building. Also, some came by and picked up flyers to give to their own contacts, friends, family, etc. I appreciate everyone’s good effort to make this lectureship a success. Great job! Another reason this past week has been so great is because Trey graduated last Friday night. I am so proud of Trey and his love for God, as well as his willingness to use his talents in the service of God. We have so many young people at Kansas Expressway who are willing to use their skills for God and to give their time in His service. I am so proud of them all, but especially proud of my dear son. I know that Trey will be great in anything and everything he does as he finishes college and eventually goes to the Bible Institute of Missouri. I am blessed and have so much to be thankful for. I love you Trey and thank God for you! I also thank many of you for your concern for my mother-in-law, Shirley. When she came down for Trey's graduation, she fell down our stairs, not long after their arrival. After going to Urgent Care, the emergency room, and to several doctor’s appointments she is doing well and it seems like she is well on the way to recovery. Thanks again for all the prayers and concern! This week has also been an exciting week because a friend of Nikki's, Brady Fox, became a Christian last Thursday Night. How wonderful it has been to study the Word of God with Brady, and to discuss those things pertaining to salvation. I look forward to more studies in the near future, but I also am proud of Brady and his willingness to submit completely to the Will of God. There is certainly power in the Gospel of Christ. So you can see this has been a great, busy and interesting week for me. My brethren, always remember to put God first in all things and you will never regret it. God always blesses His children. I love you all and look forward to seeing you tonight for the last night of the meeting and this coming Sunday again for worship. THE LORD HAD ALREADY CALLED

A call came on Sunday morning, “Tell Mom not togo to church this morning, we are coming for a visit.”But Mom went right on to church services. The daugh-ter came and was furious saying, “ I called you to letyou know that I was coming and you went to churchanyway.” The mother replied, “ The Lord had alreadycalled.” To some, going to church services is a sacrifice. To others, it is a joy and a blessing. To meet with theLord and His people is truly the best that a Christiancan do, especially at the time appointed. Why notanswer the Lord’s call first in your life? It may be thelast thing you can do in this life. BE IN BIBLE CLASS AND WORSHIP EVERYSUNDAY AND WEDNESDAY!!! ~Borrowed~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~...not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is themanner of some, but exhorting one another... Hebrews 10:25a

This past week we have been enjoying ourSpring Lectureship on a most vital subject. Theattendance has been good but many were notable to come or chose not to come. All thelessons are archived on our web site and also youcan receive a disk of the lesson itself. Everylesson had vital instruction for all of us on one ofthe most important subjects of our day, TheChristian Family. We encourage you to get acopy or go on the web and sit down with yourfamily and view the lectures. It could be one ofthe most important things you do in this life.We appreciate, so much, those who took thetime to prepare the lessons and deliver them tous all. One exciting thing was that we did havevisitors who attended as a direct result of ourdoor knocking effort on Saturday before themeetings began. A special word of thanks to all those whoparticipated in the door knocking. We hope tomake this effort a regular activity of thiscongregation. Remember those who are sick or shut in whenyou pray. Send cards when you can and visitthem to show your love and concern. Hope tosee you at our services. May God bless you all.
