Long holiday season
You can visit your holiday lodge as
often as you like, with no restrictions
on how often, or for how long you
stay during the season. Season
lengths vary from 9 to 11½ months
depending on the park. A holiday
lodge cannot be used as a permanent
residence.
Peace of mind
All new lodges come with a
manufacturer’s warranty, which
commences from the date of
purchase. The warranty period is
normally for 12 months. If any issues
arise after purchase we will report it
to the manufacturer on your behalf
and instigate a warranty claim. You
will be advised of all aspects of
warranty cover and our after sales
service in your welcome meeting.
Long term licence
You can look forward to many years
of enjoyment from your new lodge as
it comes with between a 20 and 30
year licence.

Park Holidays UK is licensed under the Consumer Credit Act and works with the leading specialist lenders to arrange terms to suit the individual needs of each customer. With a low deposit from just 20% of the purchase price, we can help arrange finance, with our partner Zebra Finance, to assist you with your purchase. The payments are fixed for the duration of the loan and you can choose a term from 3 to 15 years. Finance is subject to status, APR 9.9%

Could I live in my holiday lodge all year round?
• No, your holiday lodge must not be
your main residence; you will be
required to provide proof of your
residential address at the time of
purchase and on request
thereafter.
How much deposit will I need to pay?
• Used and new lodges will require a
cash deposit from 20% of the
purchase price to secure the
purchase.
How quickly can I move in to my holiday lodge?
• If you purchase a new model that
we have in stock or one of our
pre-owned holiday lodges, we are
happy to offer you our quick,
7-day move in.
Special order new models may
take a little longer but we will
advise you of delivery times on the
particular model you choose.
I already own a holiday home on another park – what are my options?
• We welcome all owners from
other parks, in fact, we are more
than happy to take your current
caravan or lodge in part-exchange
against a lodge purchase at most
of our lodge parks. Just ask our
Sales Advisors for details.
Is there any limit on the age of lodges that can remain on a site?
• This varies from park to park and
is an important question to
understand before you buy. As
members of the British Holiday &
Home Parks Association
(BH&HPA) and National Caravan
Council (NCC) we are required to
offer an initial fixed period from
first purchase. The standard for
new lodges is between 20 and 30
years on most parks.†
The details will be explained when
you visit a park, and will form a
part of written pitch licence
agreement when you buy.
May I bring my dog?
• We welcome most well-behaved
dogs with considerate owners at
all of our parks.

What are the running costs?
• You pay an annual pitch fee which
contributes to the running costs of
the park in addition to your utility
bills, rates and insurance.
Feel free to contact us and request
information on the average running
costs. We can provide you with a
summary of running costs for your
preferred park.
What purchase options do I have?
• We accept most major credit or
debit cards, cash or cheques.
Alternatively, we offer a range of
finance purchase plans, a
Guaranteed Lettings Scheme, and
a Home Exchange option. With
just a 20% deposit you can spread
the cost of your purchase with
fixed affordable monthly
repayments. See pages 10-11
for more information.
What services are available?
• Lodges have full services
connected – water, drainage and
electricity. Electricity is charged at
cost and at a discount on standard
domestic tariff. Gas is often
provided by piped LPG, otherwise
by cylinders.
Where gas is via cylinders, the
park offers a delivery service to
ensure you never run out of gas
with an automatic switch over
system. In addition, at many parks a
Wi-Fi internet connection is
provided free of charge in club
venues. Many parks also offer
access to Wi-Fi from your lodge.*
You will enjoy access to all digital
TV stations so you will have home
from home entertainment – and
with most parks having mobile
phone coverage you will have
24/7 access to the outside world.
When can I stay at my holiday lodge?
• You can stay whenever you like,
as often as you like and for
however long you like during the
holiday season. Please contact us
for our park season lengths on

†Sandhills Holiday Park has a 15 year licence for new caravans and 20 year licence for new lodges. Pre-owned holiday homes benefit from the same licence as new models, less the age of the holiday home with a minimum of 5 years. *Charges apply.

Are parks open all year?
• Holiday lodge owners can normally
use the park for most, but not all of
the year. The majority of our parks
have an ownership season of up to
11½ months of the year. The
actual dates vary from park to
park. Please ask the park of your
choice for details.
Are there lots of rules and regulations?
• Buying a lodge is a big purchase
and there are regulations in place
to ensure buyers have rights and
are fairly treated. We are members
of the British Holidays & Home
Parks Association (BH&HPA) and
National Caravan Council (NCC)
and we are required to comply with
a code of practice that puts the
needs of the customer first. Parks
also need to have rules to ensure
that the site licence with the local
authority is complied with, and to
manage the behaviour of people
for the enjoyment of everyone.
The park rules are usually
displayed in the park reception
and will be detailed in your owner
welcome pack.
Can I allow family and friends to use my holiday lodge?
• Of course! It’s your holiday lodge
and you can invite family and
friends to visit and stay with you
as often as you like.
Can I choose the pitch for my holiday lodge?
• Absolutely, when you visit we’ll
show you around the park and
highlight the various pitches that
are available to you.
Can I sublet my lodge?
• At most parks the answer is yes –
how you use it is entirely up to
you! Some parks do have
restrictions so it’s always best to
ask. Many parks offer a sublet
service so that lodge owners don’t
have the hassle of trying to find
customers, arranging the cleaning,
check in and collecting payment.
Some owners find that subletting
can cover some or all of the
running costs, still leaving time for
them to enjoy the weeks it’s not
let out.
