THE BELLS OF ST. MARY
Please keep the following in your prayers This week please remember the intentions in our intention book, our family and friends in need,
those who have fallen away from the Church, and those going through difficult times Ann, Arlene, Barbara, Betty, Bev, Carmen, Charlie, Chris, Ed, Janice, John, Lois, Mary, Nichole, Nicki, Pat, Sharon, Tom, Tony, Violet and all who have asked for our prayers.
Check out the Web! Check out the Wellness Recipe and Tip of the Month by visiting the parish website… stmaryelyria.org
The Pilgrim Way of Ignatius Loyola You are invited to discover more about the dynamic practice of Ignatian Spiritu-ality, a spirituality that helps us to be open to the call of God in our life.
Join us on Thursdays in February: February 2, 9, 16, and 23 from 7 - 9 pm in the Weigand Room. We will gather for Communal Prayer, Input/Teaching on the Spiritual Exercises, Personal Witness and Stories, Per-sonal Reflection, Conversation and Fellowship. It is not necessary to commit to attending all four sessions. Registration forms can be found at the entrances of the Church. Completed forms can be dropped in the collec-tion basket or brought to the Parish Office. There is no cost to participate in the program, however, registering helps us to plan for adequate seating.
Box Tops Keep clipping! The next turn in date is in February.
Facebook Marketing Look for St. Mary School on Facebook! We are in the pro-cess of creating our page. Right now it is listed as St. Mary Elementary School. A name change has been made to Face-book to correct it to be St. Mary School Elyria. Watch for our Facebook ad campaign! We are looking for testimonials for our school. Please email those to Jen Brunkow at [email protected] as soon as possible. Also let her know if you have a picture on Facebook or Linkedin she could use to go with your testimonial.
Cross Shaped School The school gathered together to take a picture in the church in the form of a cross.
Good-bye… One of our first grade students is moving to southern Ohio. The first graders and their parents put together a shadow box with pictures of their time together. She also received a stuffed animal from her classmates. You will be missed, Theresa!
