O. Anthony MaddalenaExecutive DirectorWealth Advisor

Tony started in the financial serv-ices industry in 1988, with his entirecareer in wealth management atMorgan Stanley and its predecessorcompanies. Prior to his tenure atMorgan Stanley, Tony worked at theaccounting firm Price WaterhouseCoopers. He provides wealth man-agement solutions to a variety ofclients including high net-worthindividuals, family trusts, corpora-tions, and not-for-profit entities. TheMaddalena Group is also part ofMorgan Stanley’s Executive FinancialServices Group, offering stock planservices as well as 401(k)/Retirementservices for both public and privatecorporations. In 2013, he was rankedby The Financial Times as one of the400 Top Financial Advisors. A resi-dent of Westchester County for over40 years, Tony is a graduate of

Fordham University, with a BA andMaster’s degree in InternationalPolitical Economy. While at MorganStanley, Tony successfully completedthe Senior Account Executive pro-gram at the University ofPennsylvania’s Wharton School.Active in the local community, Tonyserves on several boards of not-for-profit organizations. Currently, Tonyis a board member of The NeubergerMuseum of Art, The WestchesterCounty Association, as well asFriends of Copland House.

Charles WhiteSenior Portfolio ManagerDirector of Business Strategy

Charles started in the financialservices industry in 1984, mostrecently he was the Chief Strategistand Portfolio manager for ThomasLloyd Funds. He was Vice Chairmanand Head of Security Selection atAvatar Associates from 1988 to 2003,where he worked alongside WallStreet legend Dr. Martin Zweig.Charles also served as AssistantController of the City of Boston from1984 to 1988 where he managed theCity’s pension fund. Charles is theChief Portfolio Manager for TheMaddalena Group and focuses onseeking to maximize risk adjustedreturns. During his tenure at Avatar,Charles appeared several times onCNBC, and Bloomberg television andradio to speak about the markets.

Charles holds both undergraduateand graduate degrees from BostonUniversity where he earned a BS/BAin Finance and later earned an MBAin Public Management and Finance.Charles resides in Rye, NY with his

wife and twin sons, is an avid golfer,board member, and Treasurer of theWestchester Country Club.

Alexander PugatchFixed Income SalesFinancial Advisor

Alex started in the financial servic-es industry in 2006, working at Bankof America Merrill Lynch inInstitutional Fixed Income Sales,covering hedge funds, asset man-agers, and proprietary trading desks.At Morgan Stanley, Alex focuses oncomprehensive wealth managementsolutions for family offices and high-net-worth individuals. In addition,Alex consults on the fixed incomeportion of our discretionary portfo-lios. Alex earned his BS in Commercefrom the McIntire School ofCommerce at the University ofVirginia, concentrating in Financeand Accounting and his MBA from

Columbia Business School, majoringin Finance and Real Estate and grad-uating with Dean’s Honors. Alexresides with his wife and son inArmonk, New York.

Juan PaysseSenior Vice PresidentFinancial Advisor

Juan started in the financial indus-try in 1998, specializing in wealthmanagement for high net worthclients in Latin America. Prior tojoining Morgan Stanley in 2011, heled a group of global investment spe-cialists covering Mexican residents asa VP at JP Morgan, and coveredMexican, Brazilian, and Venezuelanclients as an Associate Director atUBS AG. Juan Paysse is a member ofMorgan Stanley’s Fixed Income andEquity Middle Markets Group, cover-ing pension funds and asset man-agers. A multilinguist, Juan is fluentin Spanish (native), English, andPortuguese. He has a diverse educa-tional background: a law degree fromthe Catholic University of Uruguayand an MBA from University ofChicago’s School of Business, andholds Series 7 & 66 licenses.

Lawrence Bahr, CRPS®

Financial Planning SpecialistFinancial Advisor

Lawrence Bahr has been in thefinancial services industry since2005. He works with corporateexecutives to help build and preservetheir wealth and maintain financialsecurity. Lawrence believes in theprocess of developing a comprehen-sive financial plan; combining bothwealth accumulation strategies andrisk management techniques to helpproduce a well-rounded solution formaintaining financial independence.He earned the title of FinancialPlanning Specialist, awarded toFinancial Advisors who successfullycomplete an advanced financial plan-ning training program with a focuson retirement, education, and estate-tax planning strategies.

Lawrence received his B.A. fromHamilton College in Clinton, NewYork. He lives with his wife anddaughter in Chappaqua, New York.

Alex PuroFinancial Advisor

Alex has been with the MaddalenaGroup since January 2010, and is pri-marily focused on executing thegroup’s investment strategies. Headditionally provides portfolio ana-lytics, trading, performance reconcil-iation and account management forthe group’s discretionary portfolios.In his previous role as a ServiceAssociate, he was an ACE Awardwinner for outstanding service in2011. Alex holds series 3, 7, & 66, andstudied Computer Science andEnglish at Hampshire College andthe University of Massachusetts inAmherst.

Michael GlazerFinancial Advisor

Michael Glazer joined TheMaddalena Group in November 2012as the team’s Wealth AdvisorAssociate. Michael helps to createand maintain comprehensive finan-cial plans for our clients, taking aholistic view of their overall holdingsin relation to their financial goals.Michael holds series 7 & 66 licenses,and studied finance at the DolanSchool of Business at FairfieldUniversity.

Matthew PioliSenior Registered Associate

Matthew Pioli provides valuablesupport and offers clients a high levelof service as a Senior RegisteredAssociate and a member of TheMaddalena Group at MorganStanley. Matt has been with MorganStanley since 2011. He earned his BSin Business Management fromSpringfield College, concentrating inFinance and Accounting. Mattresides in Fairfield, Connecticut.

Angela ValvanoConsulting Group Analyst

Angela joined the MaddalenaGroup in 2014 as the team’sConsulting Group Analyst. She con-centrates on providing additionalvalue to clients by helping to overseethe financial planning processincluding running risk analysisreports, financial planning/asset allo-cation and other tailoredreporting. She has been with MorganStanley since 2012 and worked in avariety of roles within the firm’sRotational Analyst Program. She hasspent time in Morgan Stanley’sMutual Fund and ETF Due Diligencegroup and in the Client DevelopmentGroup working with the firm’s ultra-high net worth clients. She also spenttime in Morgan Stanley’s retailbranches.

Hubert has been with MorganStanley since 2013, joining the firmafter graduating from the Universityof North Carolina at Chapel Hill in2012 with a B.A. in Political Science.Hubert works primarily with ourInstitutional Middle Markets Groupboth domestic and internationally,assisting in operations and accountmanagement.
