During summers, he’s coached in the Westchester Summer League for Coveleigh Club, Rye Golf Club and Westwood Swim and Tennis Association. As a collegiate athlete, Dylan was named MAAC Conference “Diver of the Year” and NCAA Zone Qualifier for Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ. As a JO diver, Dylan was a member of the National Team and was an All-American/Section 1 Champion for Westlake High School. Dylan graduated in 2008 from Rider University with a B.A. in Communications. Dylan continues to dive as an aquatic performer in theme parks in the northeast. DYLAN KORN Dylan is the Co-Head Diving Coach for the Marlins Diving Club. Dylan has worked with all the levels of the Marlins Diving Club, from the Future Champions to the Junior Olympic Team. He has helped coach the JO an NCAA All American as well as a USA National Team member and a two-time Olympic Trials finalist. Through her experience both as a competitive elite-level diver and coach, Lindsay has gained expertise in her coaching technique and is able to assist in helping divers through the college recruitment process. Before joining the Marlins Diving Club, Lindsay helped several divers improve their skills and win the State Championship within 2 years. Three of her former athletes are now diving for Division 1 college teams. LINDSAY WEIGLE Lindsay Weigle is the Co-Head Diving Coach for the Marlins Diving Club at the YMCA of Greenwich. Despite her late start in diving, she won 3 Junior National titles, earned a scholarship to Indiana University, and became named Division II Diver of the year after winning his fourth NCAA National Title and breaking the NCAA Division II 3 Meter Diving record, making him a 6 time NCAA Division II All-American. Logan began coaching with Marblehead High School, Salem High School, and Beverly High School in Massachusetts during the 2006 season. During his time at Marblehead, he coached three sectional qualifiers and two Massachusetts State Finalists. While in Massachusetts, he also helped coach lessons for Boston Area Diving, focusing on their beginner ages. From 2008 to 2011, he coached independent lessons to Clarion area high school students. While there, he coached a Pennsylvania State Finalist for two out of three years. During summers at Clarion University, Logan served as an assistant coach at the Clarion University Swimming and Diving Camps. During this past summer, Logan has filled his time by taking on the roll of Head Swim and Dive Coach in Coudersport, Pennsylvania. There he coached children ranging in skill from beginners to advanced. He was able to push his team to become Tri-County League Diving Champions. LOGAN PEARSALL A native of Port Allegany, Penn- sylvania, Logan attended Clarion University of Pennsylvania & earned a Bachelors degree of science in Athletic Coaching in 2010. ABOUT THE FACILITYThe YMCA of Greenwich’s 50-meter x 25-yard state-of-the-art Olympic Aquatics Center features a 13- foot deep diving well equipped for optimum training with two 1-meter and two 3-meter maxi-flex diving boards set on Durafirm stands. Designed to provide a safe, progressive training environment for every diver, the facilities also include: Maxi-flex dry-board with over head spotting rig 1-meter training platform Portable mini trampoline dive station Mounted TIVO system for dive video playback Hot tub Overhead spotting rig for the 1-meter and 3-meter wet board

TRAINING LEVELSTraining levels are determined by a combination of each diver’s age, ability, and commitment level. Divers can move to advanced levels from session to session and all levels will have the chance to compete throughout the season. Placement for each level of training will be determined by the Head Coach through a scheduled evaluation.

pRACTICE AND TRAININGDiving training for all levels includes a combination of dry land conditioning and drill work, dry board and belt spotting, and 1-metet and 3-meter diving training with an emphasis on basic diving fundamentals. Video analysis through the use of TIVO assists divers in learning new dive. Practices and training are designed to build confidence from a strong foundation while guiding each diver toward reaching their maximum potential.

FALL REGISTRATION DAY JO ELITE TEAM (JUNIOR OLYMpIC)Duration Fee

The JO Elite Team is the highest level of training for young athletes. These athletes will competed throughout the season at regional, national and international meets with a full JO list of dives of the 1-meter and 3-meter diving board. The option to practice and compete on the Platform will be available to these divers. The JO Elite Team will continue to learn strong fundamentals in addition to a full list of optional dives on both boards. The JO Elite team is a full-year commitment and practices 5 times a week for 2 hours. Members of the team will be selected by the coaches based on skill level, dedication and behavior.

LEARN TO DIVEDuration Fee

8 weeks $300

Lean To Dive is a beginner level team designed to teach basic skills while learning beginner level dives on the 1-meter diving board and an introduction to the 3-meter. The Learn To Dive group is intended to give each diver a chance to learn in a fun and safe environment. Learn To Dive divers will commit to an 8 week session and practice 1 day per week for 60 minutes. NOVICE TEAM

The Novice Team is an intermediate level designed for 13 & under divers who have successfully progressed through the Learn To Dive team or have had some previous diving experience. Emphasis is on basic diving skills on both 1-meter and 3-meter boards, including dry land training and exercise, learning a list of dives on the 1-meter and introduction to new dives on 3-meter. The Novice Team will have the opportunity to compete in the Tri-State League. Practices will run 2 days a week for 90 minutes.

NOVICE TEAM/2 DAY COMMITMENT

TRI-STATE LEAGUEThe Tri-State league offers the novice and intermediate diver an opportunity to compete against other teams in the Tri-State area in a stress-free competitive environment. Meets are scheduled throughout the season and the requirements for each age group are less intense than at the J.O. (Junior Olympic) level.

The Pre-Team is an intermediate level that will continue to teach strong fundamentals while introducing optional dives on 1-meter and a list of dives on 3-meter. The Pre-Team divers will also have the opportunity to compete in the Tri-State League as well as select JO competitions (by invite only). The Pre-Team level is intended to give each diver a chance to train at their own pace is a fun and safe environment. The Pre-Team divers will commit to an 8 week session and practice 3 days per week for 90 minutes.

JO TEAM (JUNIOR OLYMpIC)Duration Fee

The JO Team is an advanced level of training with the intention of learning a JO list of dives on both 1-meter and 3-meter boards. The JO Team competes throughout the season at local invitational’s and regional meets with the goal of qualifying for Nationals. The JO Team will continue to learn strong fundamentals in addition to a full list of optional dives on both boards. The JO Elite team is a full-year commitment and practices 4-5 times a week for 2 hours.

The JO High School Team is a full-year commitment and practices 3-5 times a week for 2 hours.
