There may have been times during this imposed separation from our church family/friends that you may have needed some encour-agement or a glimmer of hope or joy. Whether that came as a phone call, a note in the mail, or a comforting word of scripture – any/all were appreciated. Read these words and may you experience a peaceful calm assurance. “Though the mountains be shaken, and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the LORD, who has compassion on you. Isaiah 54:10 “I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans go prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a fu-ture.” Jeremiah 29:11 Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall. Psalm 55:22 Encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13
Greetings to all the ladies of our church. The UMW ladies hope you and your loved ones are well. Even though COVID19 has kept us all physically apart, I'm sure we all agree that our love and caring for each and every member of our congregation is carried in our hearts and prayers every day. Looking forward to our "reunion" - whenever that may be - and the continuation of our monthly meetings in the Fall. Thelma Matthews, UMW President
