WHAT CAN I DO WITH A MASTERS IN THEOLOGICAL AND

PASTORAL STUDIES?

Our graduates serve in a variety of theological and pastoral studies including parish ministry, youth ministry, Christian education, campus ministry, social justice ministries, chaplaincy and hospice.

GROWING. IN FAITH.

The Master of Arts in Theological and Pastoral Studies is designed for individuals who are called to leadership and service in the church and in the world, and is ideally suited for:

• Current parish staff who would like to retool or refresh their knowledge and skills to better serve the people of God in the 21st century;

• Individuals currently serving in active ministry who want to grow intellectually and spiritually;

• Students pursuing a call to theological and pastoral studies who seek spiritual formation, a rigorous and high quality academic program and experience in the field of ministry.

Theological and Pastoral Studies integrates academic course work, spiritual development and hands-on experience, which enable graduates to work in a variety of ministerial settings. The program also uses a creative adult-learning model, which allows individuals with full-time work and/or family commitments to fulfill the Master’s degree requirements.
