Music How does music make you feel?

For this lesson you will need to have access to YouTube - please make sure you ask permission from an adult.

Search for music on YouTube Kids or click on the links on this page which will take you directly to the music.

Your Task

Listen to each of the three pieces of music and describe how they make you feel. You might choose to:

Write a description down using the musical vocabulary;

Discuss them with an adult;

Draw a picture, showing how the song makes you feel or what images it creates in your mind.

When you are listening, think about:

Dynamics - is the music loud or quiet?

Tempo - is the music fast or slow?

Pitch - is the music high or low?

Instrumentation - can you name any of the instruments? How many are there?

Religious Education The Easter Story

Last week, many people around the world celebrated Easter - the most important festival of the year to Christians. Perhaps you celebrated Easter yourself?

Your task

1. Research The Easter Story and find out why it is such an important time of year for Christians.

Try to sketch that texture in a square on your page, like the ones we practised before.

Science Skeletons & Bones

This is our last week looking at humans and other animals.

Look at the skeleton of the human body and recap the names of the different bones.

With somebody at home, play a game of ‘Guess which bone?’

Describe its position, what it does, or another bone it is connected to and see if your partner can guess which bone it is. Then swap over and see if you can guess which bone they are describing.

Tibula & Fibula
