Don’t forget our annual church picnic this Sunday at 5:00 p.m. We’ll have tables set up in our bus garage along with fried chicken and drinks. Just bring a lawn chair with you and a side dish or dessert and join us for what should be a great night of fellowship!

Looking ahead: I hope you’ll also make plans to join us for a special night of worship on Sunday, July 24 at 6:00 p.m. Brian Black and our praise team will lead us as we praise, pray, and read Scripture together. Spread the word, invite a friend, prepare your heart as we seek to draw near to the Lord! In His Service, Bro. Bob

Worship Music for Sunday (July 10) This Sunday Bro. Bob will be preaching the

message, “Return to Me,” from Zechariah 1:1-6, at BOTH AM services. Our praise

team will lead the worship music for the Contemporary service at 8:30 a.m. The

Worship Choir will open the 10:50 a.m. service with the gospel favorite, “Even in the

Valley.” Plus, Mike Hayes will be sharing a solo (“The Altar”) just before Bro. Bob’s message.

Glenda and Lance will play the instruments for the 10:50 a.m. service. Sunday evening we

will celebrate our annual Church-Wide Picnic! The church will provide fried chicken and

drinks, you bring your favorite foods “pot-luck” style. Bring a lawn chair for each member of

the family. We will gather the food and the folks in the bus garage.

Remember that Music Camp is from 9 am until 1 pm Every Day This Week (July 11-15)

Our kids will be preparing the music and the drama for the VBS Musical: “Submerged” for the

service THIS SUNDAY NIGHT at 6:00 in the Sanctuary!

Yours in Christ, Mark

The youth are having a great time at Jonathan Creek camp this week, studying God’s Word, hearing it preached, praying, praising, and enjoying fellowship. The camp theme is “Identity.” Campers are considering who they are in Christ so that they can come back to their communities and impact them. The lesson

is one that would benefit all of us. Satan constantly tries to undermine who we are in Christ, but God has made it clear. “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” The youth will tell the church about the camp experience the end of this month. The next Afterglow is scheduled for July 17 at Keith and Tamara Currens house. We are planning a hayride and campfire. In Christ, David and Marsha

Music Camp is July 11th - 15th from 9:00am - 1:00pm for those students who have just

completed Kindergarten through 6th grade. The cost is $10; lunch and a shirt will be

provided. The camp will feature music from our "Submerged" VBS and the kids will

showcase their musical on Sunday, 17th at 6:00pm. Drama Auditions will take place Sunday, July

10th after 10:50am service (around 12:15pm) in the Fireside Room.

Cheerfully in Christ, Jeremy

Preparations for our 2016 Inasmuch Day on Saturday, September 17th have begun! While we will be doing some of the same projects we did last year such as food drives, gift baskets and home improvements, this year we would like to

focus our efforts on our surrounding neighborhoods.

In order to determine our neighbors’ specific needs, on July 30 from 10:00 am until noon we will fan out in small groups and spend some time talking to our neighbors one-on-one. We will be sharing with them a list of projects/jobs we might be able to help them with, as well as listening to their suggestions on more ways we can help.

If you are interested in getting to know our neighbors while making a difference in our community, please contact the church office at 839-6966 to sign up. All ages are needed—be sure to bring the kiddos.

The Children’s Ministry will offer Faith Nights on Wednesdays in July. This Wednesday, July 13, will be Water Night.

Bring a towel and swimsuit and water shoes for a fun night beginning at 6:00 pm
