The Missing Diamonds and Money.

Chapter 1

During a rainy, cold and frosty night there was a detective called James, who was in his office looking for clues on his computer. He was looking for finger prints of a robber. He was wearing a black hat, a yellow shirt and a cream tie ,with a black coat and black trousers with shiny shoes. When suddenly a job flashed up on his computer. It was for him to go and find the missing diamonds and some money in a haunted house. “Do you think I should go? What’s it going to be like?.................”

Chapter 2

He then packed his bag and set off. He was now approaching the haunted house . It was a dead plain of horror. The flowers were old and crusty. There was a huge tree with vines that covered the house to make it look shadowy. He now thought to himself, it looks scary but I must go in there. He went in with goose bumps and started exploring for some finger prints. He looked in every room except one. In that room he heard strange noises coming out. Now he was feeling quite scared and shocked. He went in. What happened…………. ?

Chapter 3

It was all dark. When suddenly James saw them, the jewels and the money. But also a robber. In a blink of an eye the robber threw a rock but luckily James ducked down low. The robber ran out and the detective chased after him into the loft. Now the robber tripped over the decking of the loft and dropped the gifts. But luckily the detective scooped the gifts up. Quietly the robber was creeping up beside James. Before James knew it he was falling out the window fortunately there was a trampoline to break his fall. “ Hey I hear footsteps crunching through the flowers! He shouted.

Chapter 4

He finds out that it’s his mummy and daddy, who were just running out of the car to hug their son. “Oh James, I was so worried about you. Where have you been?” asked mum.

“ Well I’ve just been on a, hey mum I’m really sleepy can I explain later?” He replied. So they got into the car and drove off to return the gifts to the police office. Then mum said, “Lets go to your office. I wonder what’ s changed?

Chapter 5

So they went over to James's office to have some tea and biscuits. Then James said, “You better be heading off home now mum. I’m just going to stay here and finish off my important work now,” so his parents went home. James was now very excited about his next mission. So the days past and cases were to be solved, but James would never forget this one.
