However, before their services could be regularised under M.P.S. 1982 Rules, Govt. of India informed the then U.T. Administration vide message No. 14012, 8/82-UTS dated 6.3.8�, that the Rules framed in 1982 had techical shortcoming and therefore implementation of the rules should be withheld till fresh rules are framed. In view of Govt. of India's instructions, regularisation of the services of these adhoc appointees/promotee, was kept pending awaiting notification of fresh rules.
Govt. of India accordingly revised the rules and notified M.P.S. 1986 Rules vide No. GSR, 832 (E) 4th June 1986.
The aforesaid cases were presented before the Selection Board for considering regulorisation of their services under 1986 Rules. The Selection Committee after careful consideration of their services records, recommended regularisation of their services with effect from 25,7.86. The Governor of Mizoram On accepting the recommendation of the Selection Board has been pleased to order regularisation of the services of the aforesaid officers in the Junior Grade of M.P.S. with effect from 25.7.86.

Non-teaching staff duly recruited by Governing Body will be absorbed into Govt. service from the date of provinciaJisation, if their educational qualifications are in conformity with the standard qualifications prescribed by the Govt. at the time of provincialisation.
