THE MODERN SCHOOL
ECNCR DELHI
SYLLABUS BOOKLET
CLASS
P - 5
2020-21
Dear Parents,
This booklet is being given to each child as a guideline for the parents. The whole year’s work has been
carefully planned for two terms. The assignments will be based on the topics mentioned in the booklet.
However, we wish to state that:
a. We may do more than what is given in the booklet.
b. We may also have to re-arrange topics in case of unforeseen holidays cutting in into the term.
Parents are requested not to teach ahead of the teachers, as the methods may vary and might confuse the
child.
For the current academic session we shall be following an evaluation pattern, evenly distributed in the course
of the academic session 2020-21. In case a child is absent for a Periodic, Half Yearly or Final Assessment,
average will be put in medical cases and absent in others.
Promotion to the new class will be based on the child’s performance throughout the year and regularity in
attending the school. Attendance is compulsory on all the working days of the school.
Parents are requested to keep in touch with the school by attending the parent-teacher sessions regularly.
Thank You,
Headmistress
