ARCHDIOCESAN COMMUNICATIONS ADVISORY COMMITTEE: We are pleased to announce that Lourdes member, Samantha Smith will be serving on the Communications Advisory Committee for the Archdiocese of Atlanta! This committee consists of Catholics from various parishes who have expertise in vari-ous fields of communications, such as news, social media, and public relations. EUCHARISTIC CONGRESS 2015 The Eucharistic Congress will be held at the Georgia International Convention Center June 3 & 4, 2016. Lourdes members planning to attend should meet at 8am Saturday, June 4th under the Lourdes banner for the Morning Eucharistic Procession. We would like to have a strong presence. RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE Lourdes will host the American Red Cross for a blood drive Sunday, June 5th, 9am – 2pm in the cafeteria. There is Power in the Blood--You can put the power of faith into action and help save a life! To register for a time slot, call Karen Allen at 770-761-0377 or [email protected]. Lourdes has had a reputation of donations in large quantities; let's not break the tradition this year. KPCLA is sponsoring the blood drive. LECTOR PREP for the month of July will be held on Saturday, June 4th at 10:30AM and on Tuesday, June 7th at 7PM in the church. All lectors are required to attend one session per month to remain active.
