Much of what ends up as scuffing and excess mortar on the face of the stone can be avoided during the installation process. Helpful tips can be found by referring to the Mountain Stone® installation guide online at www.mtstone.com. If mortar and light scuffing occur, clean immediately with a small amount of water and a soft bristle brush. It is recommended that any excess mortar be removed the day of installation. Mountain Stone®suggestsifyouwanttoassurethebeautyofyourprojectdonotpressurewash,sandblast, or use wire brushes, or acidic compounds for cleaning.
