EARLY LIFE
Richards father died after his birth. His step-father was an artist and is credited for sparking his interests in drama, opera and theater. Leipzig is famous for its Cultural and literary traditions. In 1833 he became Master choir for Wurzburg where he wrote his first opera.
MODERN DAY
He changed the style of music forever. His works can be herd in movies like Harry Potter, Lord of The Rings and Star Wars. His style of music can be herd in all forms of western music.

• Lohengrin (1850)
• Tristan und Isolde (1865)
• Parsifal (1882)
• The Ring of the Nibelung(1869–76).
CONTRAVERSIAL
His political image was extremely controversial. He was revolutionary socialist and seen as a racist. His writings were read by Hitler and influenced him greatly. In his later life he would be exiled. His final Opera was 17 hours long.
LATER LIFE
In 1853 Wagner Reconciled his debts with the help of the king of King Ludwig II and was able to start theaters again. In 1880 he wrote an essay called “Religion and Art” and in 1882 he had his final performance. In 1883 he died of a fatal heart attack and his remains were spread in the Grand Canal.
