The Baptism of Jesus1. Then Jesus appeared: he came from Galilee to the

Jordan to be baptised by John. (Matthew 3:13)

2. John tried to dissuade him, with the words, ‘It is Iwho need baptism from you, and yet you come tome!’ (Matthew 3:14)

3. But Jesus replied, ‘Leave it like this for the timebeing; it is fitting that we should, in this way, do allthat uprightness demands.’ Then John gave in tohim. (Matthew 3:15)

4. And when Jesus had been baptised he at once cameup from the water, and suddenly the heavensopened and he saw the Spirit of God descending likea dove and coming down on him. (Matthew 3: 16)

5. And suddenly there was a voice from heaven, ‘This ismy Son, the Beloved; my favour rests on him.’(Matthew 3: 17)

6. This began Jesus' public life.

7. Jesus called His first disciples.

8. Jesus ministered to the people.

9. Jesus worked miracles.

10. Jesus is the New Adam.

The Marriage at Cana 1. On the third day there was a wedding at Cana in

Galilee. The mother of Jesus was there, (John2:1)

2. and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited.(John 2:2)

3. And they ran out of wine, since the wine providedfor the feast had all been used, and the motherof Jesus said to him, ‘They have no wine.’ (John2:3)

4. Jesus said, ‘Woman, what do you want from me? Myhour has not come yet.’ (John 2:4)

5. His mother said to the servants, ‘Do whatever hetells you.’ (John 2:5)

6. Jesus turned the water into wine.

7. We can ask Mary to intercede to God for us.

8. This is a miracle of Jesus recorded in the Bible.

9. Jesus healed a little boy.

10. Jesus healed others.

The Kingdom of God1. Jesus is the King of the Kingdom.

2. Jesus is the Son of God.

3. The Father sent His Son into the world.

4. Jesus is Savior.

5. This is good news.

6. We must tell the people the good news.

7. Jesus loves us so much.

9. God wants us in heaven with Him for all eternity.

10. God wants us to promote His Kingdom.

The Transfiguration 1. Jesus took Peter, James and John up a high

mountain.

2. Jesus was transfigured before them.

3. His face shown as the sun.

4. His garments were white like a light.

5. He was still speaking when suddenly a bright cloudcovered them with shadow, and suddenly fromthe cloud there came a voice which said, ‘This ismy Son, the Beloved; he enjoys my favour. Listento him.’ (Matthew 17:5)

6. Jesus wants us to be changed, to be more likenedto Him.

7. Our whole life is a journey to love God more andlove each other.

8. Jesus is gentle and kind.

9. Jesus obeyed the will of the Father to His deathon the cross.

10. We must pray for grace to be loving, to be morelike Jesus.

The Last Supper 1. Jesus sat with the apostles at the last supper.

2. Jesus took bread and wine and changed it into HisBody and His Blood.

3. This is called the last supper.

4. Jesus also washed the feet of the apostles.

5. At the last supper Judas was there.

6. Judas betrayed Jesus.

7. Jesus loved Judas.

8. Jesus forgives our sins, we must be sorry and askHim to forgive our sins.

9. The priest hears our sins in confession, the priestcan forgive mortal and venial sins.

10. This is a power God gives to His priest.

4. God wants the people of the earth to obeyHim.

5. God expects us to live by the Scriptures.

6. God expects us to obey the commandments.

7. God wants us to love Him.

8. God wants us to love each other.

9. God wants us to be holy and be a light to all.

10. God wants us to give a good example to others.

4. His face shown white like light.

5. Jesus was talking to Moses and Elijah.

6. Then Jesus turned to how He was.

7. They came down the mountain, but they neverforgot what Jesus had shown them.

8. We make mistakes, sometimes we sin.

9. Jesus wants us to be sorry for our sins and goto confession often, when we can.

10. We must pray for grace to be holy. We havea soul.

4. Little boys and girls usually celebrate theirfirst Communion.

5. That is a special day, Jesus comes to thosereceiving Communion in a special way.

6. Jesus wants us to tell the world He is trulypresent in the Eucharist.

7. A person can get so much grace when they go tothe Eucharist.

8. A person can get so much grace when they sit infront of the tabernacle.

9. Grace is God's life.

10. We want to be filled with God's life in us.

Promises of Our Lordto those devoted to His Sacred Heart

(1) I will give them all the graces necessary in their stateof life.

(2) I will establish peace in their homes.

(3) I will comfort them in all their afflictions.

(4) I will be their refuge during life and above all in death.

(5) I will bestow a large blessing on all their undertakings.

(6) Sinners shall find in My Heart the source and the infi-nite ocean of mercy.

(7) Tepid souls shall grow fervent.
