THE MYSTERIOUS SCROLL
(Rev 5:1-4) And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a
book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.
And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to
open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. And I wept much, because
no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look
thereon.

II. The detection of the scroll
When the seals are opened in 6 and 7 the wrath and judgment of God is poured out on the Earth.
When the 7th seal is opened in Rev
8:1 it initiates the sounding of 7 trumpets
When the 7th trumpet sounds in Rev. 11:15, The kingdoms of the earth become the Lord’s

thereof.
(Rev 5:6) And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it
had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of
God sent forth into all the earth.
(Rev 5:7) And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon
the throne.
The Lion of Judah

VI. The doxology that comes from the opening of the scroll
(Rev 5:8-14) And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb,
having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. And I beheld,
and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was
ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that
was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. And every
creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them,
heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that
liveth for ever and ever.
A. The tools of
our worship
(Rev 5:8) And when he had taken the book, the four
beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of
them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
1. Harps• In the Old Testament the Harp was
through out the Psalms
(2Sa 6:5) And David and all the house of Israel
played before the LORD on all manner of instruments made of fir wood, even on harps, and on psalteries, and on timbrels, and on
cornets, and on cymbals.
(Psa 33:2) Praise the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and
an instrument of ten strings.(Psa 43:4) Then will I go
unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise
thee, O God my God.
(Psa 98:5) Sing unto the LORD with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of
a psalm.
(Psa 147:7) Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp
unto our God:
1. Harps2. Vials• Odor = is translated Incense in
other places in the Bible • Not only will we be bring praise to
God through song, but through smell
• The beautiful smell is the prayers of the saints
(Psa 141:2) Let my prayer be set forth
before thee as incense; and the
lifting up of my hands as the evening
sacrifice.

Rev. 16:17-18
1. Harps2. Vials• What does your prayers smell
like?
• How big is your vial?
• Will your prayers put off an aroma for 7 years?
(Mat 6:9-13) After this manner therefore pray ye:
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy
name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not
into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the
kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.
Amen.
1. Harps2. Vials3. Our voices • With our voices we will lift up
praise to Christ with a new song!
• This is the 1st new song sung in Heaven since the sons of God were lead by Lucifer (redemption)
B. The lyrics of
our worship
1. They tell us who is worthy!

There is a 7 fold worship performed by Angels, Beasts, and Elders…
These 7 things he already has. We don’t give them to him. We are just praising him for who he is.

Every creature (Php 2:9-11) Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
