About The National Grid as a Creative Space

The National Grid Gallery is an exciting and contemporary art space, located in the heart of the industrial district of Brookvale on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.

Submission Selection Process

Anyone is welcome to submit a proposal to The National Grid Gallery. The National Grid Gallery reserves the right to choose who gets a show, and who doesn’t. If frangipani’s are your thing, it’s probably best you read no further.

At the end of this document there is a PDF form that will need to be extracted and sent back to us — filled in — with images of your work. JPEG’s under 1MB are good.

About The National Grid as a Creative Agency

The space itself is supported by the creative design agency ‘The National Grid’ that exists separate to the gallery space. This enables us to offer artists marketing and promotional expertise.

The National Grid is a design distillery established in 2006 by Lara Allport, Simon Barrett and Matthew Conway. We work on a diverse range of projects including art, illustration, branding, advertising, publishing, events, installation graphics, story boarding and marketing collateral.

The design agency provides the artists who exhibit with collateral and e-support. Design and print come as part of the package we offer artists.

On top of design, marketing and printed collateral, we can also apply for beverage sponsorship if required.
