Description and Use

Sure Klean® Fast Acting Stripper is a thixothropic stripping compound designed for removing coatings and epoxies from masonry, wood and metal surfaces. It also removes oil, grease and waxes from concrete decks, tile and terrazzo floors.

Advantages

* Effectively removes yellowed sealers and wax build-up as well as a variety of paint coatings and graffiti. * Specially formulated for removing the toughest coatings – effectively removes epoxy, polyurethanes and

other high strength coatings. * Excellent for stripping oil, grease and built-up coatings from concrete decks.

Limitations

Description and Use

Sure KIean® Heavy Duty Paint Stripper, an alkaline formula with organic solvents, removes multiple layers of paint and graffiti from masonry surfaces. This “slow-working” extended-contact remover, remains active for 24 hours. One application of Heavy Duty Paint Stripper dissolves heavy accumulations of paint, restoring old ma-sonry to its original appearance. Heavy Duty Paint Stripper contains no methanol, methylene chloride, or chlori-nated solvents, and is water rinsable and nonflammable.

Advantages

* Remains active up to 24 hours, cutting through multiple layers of paint buildup. * Non-flammable and highly effective on many common paint coatings. * Gel consistency adheres to vertical surfaces; reduces spillage. * Can be applied by brush, roller or conventional airless spray equipment.

Limitations

* Product efficiency is reduced during cold weather. Surface and air temperatures should be a minimum of 50° F during application. * Contains highly alkaline ingredients. Will raise the grain of wood. Do not use on wood. If used on wood, it

Description and Use

Consolideck® Saltguard® WB is a ready-to-use water-based, VOC compliant silane/siloxane water repellent and “chloride screen” for the protection of concrete and masonry. Saltguard® WB penetrates more deeply than con-ventional water- or solvent-based water repellents. Low odor and alkaline stable, Saltguard® WB is ideal for field or in-plant application to concrete and most masonry. Saltguard® WB protects horizontal and vertical surfaces from moisture intrusion and chemical attack of chloride salts.

In coastal areas, Saltguard® WB protects against salt air by screening chlorides from penetrating through con-crete to the reinforcing steel. Saltguard® WB reduces rebar corrosion and surface spalling caused by water-carried salts. Use Saltguard® WB on horizontal surfaces such as driveways, sidewalks, tile or brick pavers. Provides excel-lent protection for retaining walls, bridge pilings and other vertical areas exposed to de-icing salts.

Saltguard® WB is a ready-to-use effective alternative to conventional solvent-based silanes and siloxanes. Sure Klean® Weather Seal Siloxane WB Concentrate is a concentrated water repellent designed for dilution with fresh water at the job site. This solvent-free blend of silanes and oligomeric alkoxysiloxanes mixes easily with wa-ter to produce a penetrating water repellent ideal for appli-cation to dense or porous masonry surfaces.

An effective alternative to conventional solvent-based silanes or siloxanes, Siloxane WB penetrates and chemi-cally bonds deep within the masonry substrate to provide long-lasting protection against water-related staining or deterioration. SL100 Water Repellent“neat” silane water repellent for concrete

Sure Klean® Weather Seal SL100 is a modified, ‘neat’ silane system that offers invisible protection and low volatil-ity. SL100 protects horizontal and vertical concrete and masonry surfaces against water and waterborne contami-nants. The small molecular structure ensures maximum penetration and colorless protection of dense, color-sen-sitive surfaces. Ideal for GFRC, integrally colored precast concrete and many types of natural stone.

Description and Use

Sure Klean® 800 Stain Remover is a specialty masonry cleaning product that effectively removes green vanadium stains commonly found in buff or white brick. 800 Stain Remover also removes straw stains, acid bums and other metallic discolorations from most masonry surfaces.

Many staining conditions are created by excessive moisture in the walls. To avoid this, protect open wall cavities from rainwater during construction and correct any structural problems that allow water to enter the walls.

Advantages

* Removes tough metallic stains quickly and easily. * Recommended for surfaces containing colored mortar. * Water rinsable.

Limitations

* Not recommended for use on polished surfaces. * Will not correct damage caused by improper use of hydrofluoric acid cleaning solutions. * Acidic contents and fumes may damage nonmasonry and acid-sensitive surfaces.

Description and Use

Sure Klean® Light Duty Restoration Cleaner safely removes light to moderate atmospheric and oxidation staining from dense masonry surfaces. Removes difficult calcium (concrete) stains, white scum and other staining from most window glass.

This highly efficient, gelled cleaner is a colorless blend of cleaning agents, detergents and inhibitors. Compared to conventional acidic restoration cleaners, the corrosive characteristics of Light Duty Restoration Cleaner have been dramatically reduced to minimize the potential for damage to unprotected nonmasonry surfaces.

Advantages

* Highly efficient restoration cleaner for most dense masonry surfaces. * Reduced potential for damage to adjacent or surrounding surfaces. * Very low odor. * Restores clarity of most common flush window glass streaked and

Description and Use

Sure Klean® Restoration Cleaner is a concentrated compound formulated as a “carbon solubilizer”. Used proper-ly, it cleans brick, granite, sandstone, terra cotta, exposed aggregate and other masonry except limestone, marble or concrete. This product has been safely and effectively used to clean historic structures throughout the United States and Canada.

Sure Klean® Restoration Cleaner, when properly used, is safer and less expensive than sandblasting or steam cleaning. Application to masonry surfaces loosens and dissolves dirt, paint oxidation, carbon buildup and other atmospheric pollutants. A simple cold water rinse then removes these unsightly stains.

Advantages

* Proven effective for cleaning dirty and heavily carboned buildings. * Safer than sandblasting. Will not pit or damage the masonry when properly applied.

Limitations

* Not suitable for cleaning of limestone, concrete or marble surfaces. Description and Use

Sure Klean® 766 Limestone & Masonry Prewash is a strong, alkaline-based cleaning compound formulated for use with Sure Klean® Restoration Cleaner, Limestone & Masonry Afterwash or Limestone Restorer. When used properly, the prewash dissolves and assists in removing heavy carbon encrustations from brick, terra cotta, sand-stone, limestone and most other masonry.

Old masonry in high-pollution areas is often blackened by deep-seated carbon and mildew stains.

Many of these stains are impervious to standard acidic-based cleaning compounds. Sure Klean® 766 Limestone & Masonry Prewash provides the additional chemical ingredients necessary to clean extremely dirty masonry surfaces.

Advantages

Sure Klean® Limestone & Masonry Afterwash, a mild organic acid cleaning compound, neutralizes and brightens surfaces that have been prewashed with Sure Klean® 766 Limestone & Masonry Prewash. When used properly, this two-part cleaning system removes heavy carbon, dirt and other atmospheric stains from porous limestone, concrete and most other porous masonry surfaces. 766 Limestone & Masonry Prewash and Limestone & Mason-ry Afterwash will not damage most masonry surfaces.

Stand Off® Liquid Marble Cleaner is a non-acidic, low odor, blue-colored gel manufactured for the commercial cleaning, restoration and maintenance of polished stonework or glazed masonry. Stand Off® Liquid Marble Cleaner loosens and dissolves surface dirt, carbon buildup and other atmospheric stains, allowing them to be washed away with a simple water rinse.

Advantages
