Confidence to enter the Most Holy Place Hebrews 9:11 – 12 When Christ came as high priest of the good things that are already here, he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not man-made, that is to say, not a part of this creation. Vs 12 He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, having obtained eternal redemption.

By the blood of Jesus, Hebrews 9:24 - 28 For Christ did not enter a man-made sanctuary that was only a copy of the true one; he entered heaven itself, now to appear for us in God’s presence. Vs 25 Nor did he enter heaven to offer himself again and again, the way the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood that is not his own. Vs 26 Then Christ would have had to suffer many times since the creation of the world.

5. Great priest Hebrews 8:1 – 2The point of what we are saying is this: We do have such a high priest, who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven, Vs 2 and who serves in the sanctuary, the true tabernacle set up by the Lord, not by man.

Vs 9 This is an illustration for the present time, indicating that the gifts and sacrifices being offered were not able to clear the conscience of the worshiper.

Drawing again on OT scriptures they were familiar with… Hebrews 6:4 – 8 Vs 7 Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God. Vs 8 But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is in danger of being cursed. In the end it will be burned.
