To save on expenses, we decided not to renew the lease on the current home for the kids so we moved them across the street to the mission house that we are currently leasing. Therefore, we had to relocate and rebuild the school as well. Thankfully, we had lots of help this summer building and painting the school and new benches to get ready for the upcoming school year.

This is the first year all the kids are old enough to go to school. Our little Wilson starts kindergarten this year! We will now have four classes: kindergarten, first, second and fourth grade. The first day of school started

September 7th. Please continue to lift up the kids and their teachers in prayer throughout the year.

This summer besides moving the kids over to the mission house, we were also busy continuing our construction of the mission house on the new property. We want to say a big thank you to the teams from Mt Lebanon Baptist Church in Maryville, TN and St David’s Episcopal Church in San Antonio, Texas that came this summer to help with the construction and to do Vacation Bible School with the kids!

We were able to pour the first floor of the house and also build the front porch. We now have everything ready to pour concrete for the roof. There is a team comprised of people from Forest Hill, Mt Lebanon, and Marble Hill Baptist coming to Haiti December 25th to January 1st to pour the roof and also do other projects on the property. The budget

for the next phase for the roof is $13,000, which covers cement, plumbing for the second floor, rebar, sand, gravel, forms and labor. We have raised $7,000 so far. Praise the Lord! Please pray about donating to this project to help get our kids one step closer to moving onto their property.

Our Mission

The mission of Living Water Haiti Ministries is to provide a future and a hope for the children of Haiti by showing them the love of Christ (Jeremiah 29:11 & James 1:27). Our main efforts are focused on rescuing children from physical and spiritual poverty. We strive to provide a loving, Christian home environment where the kids enjoy three meals a day, receive an education, and learn about the love of Jesus. We currently have 17 children under our care (8 boys and 9 girls) ranging from age 2 to 13.
