The Radiant Quartz Technology (RQT) burner system

for the new Turbo range of BBQs has been

designed and developed right here in Australia,

and has a patent pending. It's an

infra-red burner that delivers radiant

heat directly under the food.

Radiant infra-red heat is far more

efficient at transferring heat to food

than traditional convection gas flame

systems which can dry out and burn

meat too easily.

What's more, each RQT burner features

a quartz dome running along its length

which intensifies its heat, and because the dome

is quartz and not glass, it's completely unaffected

by thermal shock.

Radiant Quartz Technology delivers

greater cooking control and more

finesse that lets everyone become a

great barbeque chef. It's difficult to

go wrong with RQT.

RQT maximises cooking efficiency

and allows you to control and

minimise flare-ups so it delivers

better flavour and texture.

RADIANTQUARTZTECHNOLOGY

The ultimate barbeque has arrived. For over thirty five years, Barbeques Galore has grown to become Australia's Number One choice forbuying a new barbeque. Over that time, we've come to understand exactly how Australians like tobarbeque. We can tell you it's not long and slow, it's not using low heat, and it's not stewing the meat.We like fast power and lots of it, for fast searing and cooking. Flame-grilled on the outside and just howyou like it on the inside. New Turbo design technology certainly delivers power. But it's power undercontrol. The new Turbo series takes barbeque design to a new level.

The quartz dome transmits radiant heat from the burners direct to the food.

How RQT works, and why.The RQT ceramic burner and quartz dome combination deliver better cooking resultsby increasing radiant heat and reducing convected heat. This has two big benefits.Firstly, food dries out less because there’s a lot less hot air movement around it.Secondly, it’s a lot more efficient because the heat is focussed directly onto thefood rather than wastefully heating the air around it, which quickly escapes.

Introducing Radiant Quartz Technology – a world first.

The new Turbo with Radiant

Quartz Technology has been fully

certified by the Australian Gas

Association.

It's this combination of infra-red

radiant burners together with

Turbo quartz dome technology that make this a

world first in the world of barbeques.

POWER UNDER CONTROL – THE ULTIMATE WAY TO BARBEQUE

The RQT burners barbeque powerfully and

efficiently. Most impressively, new Turbo with RQT

can flame-grill the fattiest cuts of meat while

giving you the control to minimise flare-ups. This

is achieved with the intense heat of the quartz

dome vaporising rather than igniting dripping fat.

This is big news. The most

hard-line, power-hungry barbequers

will be able to drive their new

Turbo to the limit with fast,

efficient flame-grilled cooking

but be able to minimise flare-ups.

Quartz dome acts as a lens trapping heat from theburner then magnifying it directly under the grill.

Quartz domes run the length of each burner, vaporisingrather than igniting dripping fats and oils.

THIS IS WHAT MAKES TURBO THEBEST BBQ IN THE WORLD

Only the Turbo series has double skinned fireboxes

and hoods. This provides more than twice the insulation

resulting in a far more consistent temperature control

and better heat retention. The cooking surfaces and

roasting area heat up more efficiently using much

less gas. This also results in helping to reduce

our carbon footprint.

The hood and firebox inner skin surfaces are gloss

vitreous enamel fired on at over 800ºC for durability and

easier cleaning.

LIGHTS FIRST TIME, EVERY TIMETurbo flame thrower ignition means reliable lighting

of any burner, first time, every time – no matches,

no batteries, no fuss.

The unique Turbo manifold system, again

designed and developed in Australia, delivers a

more even gas pressure to all burners for more

controlled cooking.

Unlike most other barbeques, this system works

equally well with either LPG or Natural Gas supply.

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE COOKING SURFACE

Turbo Classic features cast iron hotplate and

inverted V-shaped grills. As you know, cast iron

is great for conducting heat but is vulnerable to

rust. So the Turbo Classic cooking surfaces

New design doubleskin firebox maximisesheat for cooking andminimises heat loss, making the BBQ both safer and more efficient.

Unique manifold design for more even gas pressureand controlled cooking.

The best firebox in the business. The heart of any barbeque is the firebox. How well this is designed and built determines

how efficient and durable the barbeque is. With the new Turbo series, the fully welded,

vitreous enamelled steel firebox has been completely re-designed and comes with a

10 year warranty. By fabricating the firebox and windshield into one piece, it makes for

a stronger, longer lasting frame.

10YEARFIREBOXWARRANTY

Turbo Classic features vitreous enamelled cast iron cookingsurfaces for efficient heat conductivity.

have a matt vitreous enamel coating fired on at

800 degrees Celsius. This surface coating resists

acid and alkali attacks from foods and cleaners,

resists abrasion from scourers, brushes and

stones and of course prevents rust. Most

importantly, it doesn't burn off as you cook!

Turbo Elite models feature grills fabricated from

our secret-formula commercial grade stainless

steel for outstanding performance, appearance,

hygiene and you can forget about rust.

The inverted V-shaped grills minimise surface

contact with the food so delivering better fat-free

cooking, easier cleaning, less sticking and a

distinctive grill brandmark. The hotplate is also

stainless steel and can be cleaned spotlessly.

Turbo Elite features commercial grade stainless steel cooking surfaces, so can be cleaned spotlessly.

RQT allows you to use anoptional rotisserie directlyover the burners forincreased flavour, yet withflare-ups under control.

Powerful sideburner for stirfries, soups andsauces. The warming rack folds up for full access to rear of cooking area.

It’s easily removed for larger roasts and rotisseries.

The modular approach inherent in the Turbo design concept allows you to specify the configuration that

best suits your available cooking area. Start with a Turbo Classic or Turbo Elite 2, 4 or 6 burner barbeque.

All the carts are superbly engineered. They feature internal gas cylinder storage and durable kitchen

cupboard style hinges for easy operation. The Turbo Elite on cart even comes with a beautifully designed

slide-out utensil drawer built into the side shelf.
